Mwah, it's not as screaming as a "normal" F458 but I don't think it sounds horrible to be honest. But I agree it misses the aggresiveness of the normally aspirated engine (but as time goes on we have to live with it, perhaps).

The rear looks kind of weird in the movie, but lets wait for the full pictures :)

    Tomorrow :)

Sounds like a 458 at mid rev. Not bad. Not sure how authentic that sound is however..

My 360 had an 8500 red line. F355 was at least 8000...8500?

Tesla will be faster anyway. At least 0-100. Got to give the credit for the car of the future..

Mclarens does not sound, they fart.. Just like the new bmw ms. Only amg can make the turbo engine sound cool.

What's bizarre is that as of the replacement of the 458, the only naturally aspirated 500+ hp V8 left in production (that I can think of) is...a Mustang.

Not entirely on-topic, but it will be interesting to see if the V12s continue as-is or if they'll be FI / hybrid.

I find that the single lamp is not only a tribute to the most beautiful Gt of the past is also a touch of elegance and sophistication . In addition, the rear appears to be less fragmented and cleaner . The headlights of today are used to collect many types of lights in a small space

The McLaren also has a small pipe running from the engine bay into the cabin to give some extra sound. Still, the car sounds bland even with the fake engine note turned up.

Uhm didn't the AM / AMG co-op go down the drain?

Redline is one problem. The torque curve is the other issue. The Mac has an 8500 redline but torque is falling off all the way. You get the impression that it is better to shift then rev higher. It's too bad but this is turbo-land.

You can bet the the new car will have longer gears and wider ratios than the 458. Gone will be that short gear high revving "F1" sense that you got with the NA engines.

V8 Aston will be turbo but V12 will stay NA like in Ferrari , Bentley say that they want even more V12 car in the future

No, next-gen Aston Martins (the first one probably DB9 successor) will get V8 turbo's.
