How about ferrari 398 Berlinetta (rolls off the tongue, right?) Im not going to take it too far off the name guessing, but if innotech ipe exhaust can make a 650s sound pretty loud compared to the regular version, then I'd think it's safe to say that they can do the same for the 398 Berlinetta. All good. They're so not consistent, so don't know if they'll do the berlinetta thing like on the F12. Also, I think they would want to stress the turbo aspect. Wonder if they will use the old FIA equivalency factor of 1.4 (or 1.5?) like BMW with their 2.0 turbo as a 2.8. So would be 546 (for 3.9). Nah, too abstract.

I seldom chime in, as evidenced by my join date compared to posts, but I'm nearly a daily reader! I'm anxiously awaiting the release of the images and corresponding news, tomorrow. Of course I'm excited, but I'm anxious, too, because the Ferrari that has excited me more than any other in the past 20 years is about to be replaced. Truly praying that Ferrari gets it right. I just saw the youtube video with some exhaust noise of the new car. I have to say that it is the best sounding turbo engine car out there. Got my new Forza today which had a picture of the one off SPI in 2008. Built on an F430 chassis I would have bought an F430 had it looked something like the SPI. My point is I hope the 458M is an SPI step not an F430 Which looks like a 360 on steroids. Ferrari can do it. My hopes are high that the 458M will be stunning. Forza Ferrari.

Might as well get my official predictions in here. "Ferrari F8 *word*". Only coupe will be shown on the 3rd, spider at a later date. Styling will be recognizable as a 458 derivative, but noticeably more dramatic than 360 to 430 was. Significantly redesigned interior with a much improved computer system, but not exactly like the Cali T's.
Agreed lol This new model is even more significant because of the iconic car it replaces and it is the first car under the new regime, oh the anticipation!!!!
