good morning all.. i know i know, another thread about this. cant seem to find the correct route. i have a capristo twin sound exhaust need more loud! i really want to delete the precats and get a straight pipe/test pipe. i cannot have a CEL though. is there any manufacturer that fabricates test pipes/cat bypass without throwing a CEL?!? i appreciate any feedback. hope you all are enjoying your 360s as i am with mine. thanks

No, they will throw a CEL. I have some test pipes and the CEL just told me the cats were not working. (they were simply not there) The CEL did not change how the car ran. I outgrew the loudness and now have sports cats with no CEL There are various ways to fool the post cat sensors which may or may not work, I've heard.

Just ignore the CEL. Nice and simple. Been doing it for 7 years with my racecar E36. My 360 is getting sold soon so I can add another old renntech Mercedes to my collection, so I won't be able to experiment with test pipes on the Ferrari.
Doug Demuro from Jalopnik is right--the 360 just isn't worth it. Maybe next time I'll go buy a V12 Ferrari (like I should have in the first place)--something like a 456 that blends in. Or not. I am so freaking sick of all the morons asking questions and taking pictures and videos and rude questions like "how can you afford THAT".... Just leave me alone. It's my **** ******* car. If you want to look at one, sell your house, stop reproducing, dump the wife, and buy one *******.

A pair of Euro motronic units, exhaust manifolds and a tweak to the evap system would do it, but it would be very costly...

Eddie if you had something to simulate the output of the sensor at a constant output, say 0.8 Volts, do you know if the ECU would throw a light because its expecting output that varies, or does it only look for output within a given range?

I had them, went back to factory. I hated seeing engine light. stick with OEM with CS exhaust with valves open.

No, it would need to vary according to other engine conditions. Fabricating the lambda result would also have rather large reproductions on fuelling...

You can use our o2 sensor spacers and an ECU tune. The chances of you still having a CEL is extremely slim.

I can help you with the whole bit (Fabspeed Headers to eliminate pre-cats, catbypass pipes, spacers, EVOMS Tune, etc)
