One problem I see if that US license plates might hang down and look odd on this rear end. It looks like they've not considered that in the design. Time will tell.

I love it, but the side vents are a tad over the top, the door handles appear to have changed and that name...

Certainly a lot of air scoop going on there.

Anyone care to explain what they mean by "(...)and a response time to the accelerator of just 0.8 seconds at 2,000 rpm."

Also, SSC now controls the dampers too.

So love the 488 design, front end is so sorted and aggressive unlike the messy weak chinned 458, the side intakes in the wings add drama just missiing quad rear lights, I could be ordering a Spider if it sounds good

I like the rear but I have to get used to the huge Side intake. Also have to get used to the front. However, it could also be the fact that I dont like ferraris press pictures;). Hope they will upload a movie too :)

The time is on par with F12berlinetta, and I'd put all the money on the latter. Besides, waiting for handling pack update for F12.

The 488 hasn't struck me when it comes to the looks, but I will wait to Geneva to get real thoughts on that (and the sound). Anything else is already impressive. Happy to see it is 670hp not some less. More magic ;-) will unveil through the tests and reviews.

This new evolution clearly does not date the stunning 458.....yet the 488 is cutting edge as is needed to be the best in the world....

I'd suggest the new 488 is a big win.

Did you notice the shape of door handles? Reminds me of the side fins at the bottom of the sides of the Speciale. Interesting.

Love the rear end. Not so sure about the air intakes in the front hood and side... I'll have to see it in real life to judge i think.

Sounds like crap and one of the lamest marketing videos yet. Hashtags? Come on.. Will not be selling my 458.

The front look a little better then the 458 but the side profile ruined by those ghastly intakes.

The CO2 is only down 15 g/km from the 458 w/HELE. That will probably save the world according to the EU legislators.

The valve covers are more than just covers. They hold the cams down. Unlike MM - glad no MMI!

Top gear compares it to the 599GTO. Should be fun.

These guys are just class, pure class. What a fabulous update this is - reflects the 458 styling but does not invalidate it, incorporates the extra air scooping needed for the turbo engine but still references famous Ferraris of the past in so doing, adds interesting technology to overcome some of the deficiencies of turbocharged engines etc. etc.

The car looks immediately lovely and you don't have to 'try' to love its looks IMV. I am also a 12C owner and couldn't believe the way Mac updated the 12C with the 650S (which is very ham-fisted IMO) but none of that here.

I'm really impressed and although I think the Speciale will go down as an 'all-time great' along with the 458 Italia, I think the future of beautiful and passionate red cars coming out of Maranello is quite safe.
