in my opinion with a chrome prancing horse in the middle of the central air intake this 488 could be perfect.

Beautiful. Congratulations to Ferrari, Centro Stile, Manzoni..

PLEASE STOP PRODUCE THESE HORRIBLE 3D RENDERINGS.

Why don't they pay a photographer to make a photo shoot in a studio??

Why don't they pay a decent CGI artist to make nicer renderings? It's the art director, that's the issue. Whether they shot or rendered this, there's an art director in the mix pushing a 'house style' so even if they photographed the car it would look just about as bad. That's why their shots always look so stiff.

As usual, Ferrari completely ignores that 95% of the world needs a front license plate.

I'm sure there will be lots of pessimism here,. but I liked it a lot. While I've found the aesthetics and technical data very satisfying, I will wait for the GTO or Speciale edition of the 488.

in the press release they speak of a new double front spoiler .From the top view there is a double wing. In the front view there is no double wing. In an other view there is only one double wing. What happened? they forgot to turn on some levels when they created the render or what?

People always moan and b1tch about every facelift.

Then the actual car comes out and everyone drools.

These cars are looking more and more like spaceships with every new release.

    Sounds lame too.

I wonder if the front bumper will be interachangable with the Italia. Would be nice to get rid of those annoying fins.

Not really, the 458 was a huge improvement over 430 in every department.

I like the rear. Side vents don't integrate really well to my eyes. Anxious to see it in the flesh though..

Stunning in design and performance! More power and torque than a Zonda F Clubsport and it came with a 7.3ltr V12!!

That's right, last year i almost lost my driving license because of that.

I am also wondering, how they will fit US license plate on rear of the car?

Similar story with torque management as in Cali-T :

    ''Coppia massima * 760 Nm a 3000 giri/min in VII
    marcia''

    Hello FerrariChat!

The back end is absolutely gorgeous and I also love the front end as well (never understood why LaF got negative comments about its front end either).

The only issue I have is -like others- with the side vents. Its not their design per se that I am not fond of, but rather the size of them. I know those turbos need air, but the vents look kinda huge.

Overall I love it with just a side note in regards to the vents. Perhaps seeing it up close and personal or in a different color, it will grow on me.
