Thanks for encouraging me to pull the trigger 3 weeks ago (!), just before the latest big price rise!! Beat the Barret-Jackson price jump by 2 hours
I went the Ford GT route but wished I would have picked up a CS a few weeks ago too when I could. Oh well..
Saw a nice Ford GT on showroom floor at Scottsdale Ferrari last weekend. You can still add a CS. I know of a nice silver CS available...
^ Funny how I posted about that yellow CS coming available in December and received only one PM. The minute it hit AutoTrader several of you guys PM'd me. Car sold in a few hours. Great car. No stories. One owner. Nicely optioned. No stripe. The striped one I told you about sold already. LOL! That was a darn nice TdF CS and well priced, too. Another CS that was never listed for sale that sold very fast. Huh? You missed out AGAIN???
Lol love the posts on here!! Just a matter of time before this thread gets 1 million page views.. It's a very good topic!! For the ppl that actually have a CS and looking to get one.. Cheers
This car? 2004 Ferrari Challenge Stradale , $169,900 - Cars.com It was involved in an accident but I don't have any details (but I am sure Stokpro does have all the details for you ). Interior has been replaced twice now. It had an aftermarket blue-black alcantara interior and that was replaced in 2013 to black alcantara with yellow stitching. Really liked that blue alcantara! You can see some archive photos of the car and the beautiful blue-black alcantara here: Challenge-Stradale.com - Ferrari 360 CS VIN 135215
Source for the accident/incident here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/140042253-post1517.html "Past owner is an Fchatter and stated his car spun off on a public road. He said he didn't make contact with anything but the front and rear bumpers needed to be replaced after the incident. I would do a PPI." The stripe is not factory by the way. Dealer ad is wrong.
Wow, I had not checked this thread for a while. I am amazed how quickly the CS prices have climbed. I am glad I am "in" so to say. I love my car and have no intention of selling, so this price move does not mean much to me. But, one wonders how far would it go in another ten years. Any speculation? Will it be one of those that might go for millions or will it cap at some lower value? Any one would like to speculate? may be it eventually benefits my children in other ways than the joy it gives me driving it.
I had looked at this car when it was at Driving Emotions. I believe I spoke with the prior owner that had the wreck. It was stated as minor. The stripe was aftermarket. As I remember that Capristo level 3 was great!
