Very impressive. I'd say that qualifies him to fight Klitschko.
Sad isn't it? The time of watching the big heavyweights, Lennox Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson, etc. are long gone it seems.
Sam Watson: Floyd Mayweather Jr. wants Manny Pacquiao 'real bad' - Ring TV I would too. Pacquiao didn't look that impressive against Algieri. Just for the record, there were four knock downs not six, and why didn't Pacquiao finish him off? Mayweather probably has equally deplenished skills though.
For those who didn't see the Herrara vs Benavidez fight, Herrara got robbed once again just as it was with the Garcia fight. He clearly beat Benavidez but lost a decision last night. The Bradley v Chavez fight was judged a draw. Bradley did look like he got hit by a truck at the end of the fight, but most observers (other than the judges) thought he pulled it off.
Yep saw it. Bradley has peaked, I hope he doesn't move to 154, he'll never make it. On Showtime Amir Kahn made a good case to fight Mayweather. The guy put blazingly fast 3 and 4 punch combos on Devon Alexander, he's faster than Mayweather, has better footwork, an rangy. I love the match up right now. The not knowing crowd can have the Pacquiao fight.
Agreed. Think the Kahn vs Mayweather ticket would be better. I remember seeing Kahn fight at the Garden in NYC early in his career. He has improved exponentially since then. Susceptible to the left hook and questionable chin but extremely talented.

Yes i did. I expected it to be a bit better. Maybe cause i've been waiting for it to come out for almost a year. I guess the anticipation??????
Been following the negotiations between Mayweather Pacquiao. Looking like Pacquiao says yes to everything, but that's not good enough for Mayweather. I guarantee he'll have the money, drug testing, location, ring size, glove size, referee, judges, and probably his choice of ring girls, all in his favor before it's all said and done. Pacquiao will be beaten before he steps into the ropes.
So Floyd and Manny have had a private meeting face to face for than an hour to discuss terms. April may be too early??
Meh, if it happens it happens. If it doesn't, oh well. Bring on Golovkin-Murray, Canelo-Cotto and eventually Golovkin-Cotto!
Might be and it might be best to try and make the fight happen in September now. Sign the deal asap and spend the next 6 months promoting it. It's going to be a huge fight, so make sure it's HUGE! That all sounds exciting and can't wait to see GGG in action again.
Canelo/Cotto was scraped. Nothing on the table for either right now. I still like GGG/Canelo at 160, but at 168, he and Chavez Jr. would be a war.... if there is such a thing left in boxing. It can't be too much cuzz somebody might get hurt, and we can't have that! Keep your eye on Welterweight Kieth Thurman. He's fighting Guerrero early March. Another good match up on paper. Surprised nobody mentioned Deontay Wilder against Berman Stevern. I have to say Wilder can fight. Best looking Heavyweight in a long time, and somebody that could flat out beat Klitscko. Equal height and length, good power, and 10 times faster. Take that back Canelo is fighting James Kirkland. Might be pretty good.
Looking forward to seeing Wilder V Klitschko. When Vlad hangs up the gloves, my man Anthony Joshua will take over and rule the Heavyweight Division. Here is Anthony Joshua if you don't know who he is. He is a big man, same size as Vladimir. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVUC5XXQ3hI Anthony Joshua - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
So looks like we don't get to see the money man in our country... World champion boxer Floyd Mayweather has been blocked from entering the country over his history of violence towards women, ending plans for a two-day promotional tour due to begin on Thursday. Mayweather was originally booked for dinner and nightclub appearances in Sydney and Melbourne on January 29 and 30 respectively. They were then deferred to February 5 and 6. Mayweather, who is the highest paid athlete in the world after making US$110 million ($141 million) last year for only two fights, was denied a visa just hours before he was due to fly to Australia via private plane with a 30-person entourage.
