I thought you were really asking a question and was going to tell you to look at the white car for sale on EBay, LOL. I guess I'm a little late.

euro car with title issue might be hard importing to usa even though it's 25+ years old which usually makes it easier.

Was it just the bumper that was replaced, or the whole front end? Didn't they mention the damage was relatively extensive to the front in the description (and hence the reason it was "Salvage")?

Yeah saw that too. Vin only brought up 4 hits on google search so I didn't really want to say for sure it was the same car. That thing was whacked pretty good, different color repaint, title issue, euro vin...IMO going to be a hard sell even in todays market

I would like to see it in person just for an educational example of what had been done. I know that cars can be brought back with enough time and money. Same thing with WWII planes. It would be interesting to see just how far the body shop went to do things properly.

But good to know you can put a 512TR bumper on a pre 91 TR!

The Testarossa front bumper is so much better looking than the 512TR IMHO.

Well judging from the pictures they had some serious frame straightening to do.
The LF wheel was pushed back into the firewall, the roof had a hump in it and driver's door couldn't be closed.

Funny that ad only mentions "left front damage".

I'm curious how well they interfaced the brake ducts to the 512TR front end.

Also, what they did do with the inlet for the air conditioning condenser which is mounted just in front of the left front wheel. The inlet on a TR is in the airdam on the left side. I guess it shares that opening on the 512 front end with the LH brake duct.
(If memory serves, the 512TR has a different location for the condenser and set-up for that too.)

The person selling it now bought it post repair and is going off what he was told was done to the car. Several people have contacted him to point him here to see the before pics

I'm stunned that this car didn't get parted out back in 2006 when rebuilt salvage TRs were pretty much worthless. Sounds like they used an entire front clip of a 512TR and not just the bumper.

I guess he learned more people know about his car than he thought. He has to lower if he wants to sell. Rare are those who wants a car that was badly smashed like it was.
