Great pictures of great cars. Thanks.
Nice looking '78 black on black on ebay, due to salvage title might be an affordable driver, appears no reserve. Porsche 930 930 | eBay No affiliation. Would require in-person inspection due to scanty photos, ghetto description and accident damage... Image Unavailable, Please Login

Another photo of 1979, 9309801198 posted on Twitter. I agree with Mike that with 110 miles, this turbo has almost triple the miles of Ed B's 1979 http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/143640445-post1304.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don't flame me, just a heads up about thinning the herd. I have decided to reduce my 930s by around 50%. If unsold by later this year they will be advertised elsewhere. Cars I would prefer to keep as listed on my website VoitureLTD are # 2 #3 #4 #11 #12 #13. The last time I sold any a guy from Germany came to buy one. He was so impressed he tried to buy 6 and I compromised and sold four. Since then I have bought more, so should sell some. Long winters and short summers for so many to drive. Can be held subject to a inspection, drive and final negotiations when weather permits. PM or email for phone# to discuss a detailed description. Thanks, Tony@VoitureLTD

Rich, what's the story on that car? On display? For sale? Original? Restored? ...and I know nitpicking, but the front trunk lid doesn't close correctly? Off just a bit? Makes me think, restored, with fresh rubber trim that needs to settle down a bit.
Not sure of the details but heres the website: Rétromobile Exhibition The trunk fit looks pretty good to me. I thought there was always a slight upper incline at the left and right front edges of the trunk lid? Here is one coming to auction, looks really nice... 1979 Porsche 911 Turbo | Amelia Island 2015 | RM AUCTIONS
How about this? Known the car for nearly 15 years. Special "Color to Sample" 1979. Tasteful wheels installed at some point, very little else changed. In excellent shape front to back and Porsche Certificate of Authenticity correct. The color really knocks me out. I am driving this dude asap. a guy in Atlanta owned this car a while back (6-7 years ago). i came across it one day athe Ferrari dealership being detailed. at the time he wanted $65 for it when comperable early 930s were selking around $40k. i think it was sold a few years ago at anoteher auction around $80.
Is ther no thread for 86 thru. 89s .. or does the music stop at 79.. damn should have bought mangs (MIKES) black car... larryH
This 930 shows well in the pictures but it would be interesting to understand why the sugar scoops and washer jets do not appear correct. There may be an explainable reason but these change were further along than VIN 608. Has anyone seen this car up close recently? .
the sugar scoops look like those on my 79. yes the washer meets are not correct. maybe Al crashed it. my 930 was sold by new by Holberts. I would like to think Al tested it before it was sold.
Kind of relieved Larry didn't buy my car as he was the the last one I would have let buy my car at the then advertised ask of $109k. I would not sell for that today already. The market seems to me anyway, steady and solid and prices are still appreciating. And my car is a pretty nice one I did finally get a potential 'buyer' come to see and drive the car two weeks ago. Here is a photo just warming it up... The fellow who came up is a knowledgeable Porsche guy from the Pelican 'scene'. He has gone quiet, and I'm not sure why. I mentioned to him he is the only person in 2.5 years to ever come and see it. He is not an fchatter, so guess we won't know what he thought of it? He simply couldn't afford it in the end. I was hopeful he might give an evaluation, since you've all heard mine a few times Image Unavailable, Please Login
