    Hi guys! I am watching this thread since month, very interesting stuff, thanks for all the info. But wtf happened to the 75 Turbo prices? Seems the freaks just oversaw that model for years and now it's suddenly on its way towards RS level? A couple of years ago I could've got a May 75 RoW car in virtually untouched #2 cond for some 60 grands (USD not Euros). Does anybody know what is realistic today? Last week I heard there is one offered somewhere in Austria for over 400,000 Euros. Can't believe.

    Better believe it. Not offered, sold for over 400.000. Only 274 were made in 1975, they're heading to Porsche 911 1964 territory. Also 232 made and less than 100 left in the world. Always buy a 911 with low production numbers, in the end it will pay and in the meantime you have a great time owning it... Now only to find the next overlooked model.

    The first 120 or so 1976 cars fall into the "Homologation" production and were built in 75.
    They had the slight 76 cosmetic changes, the galvanized body and used the same 930/50 engine that all the 75's had.

    Not to take away from the RS's, but 400 cars is a tiny number for a global market. Then subtract the cars that were stripped down for racing or just plain crashed in the hands of the "money can't buy talent" owners.

    Looking back, many 3.0Lt 930's also went through a remarkable phase of insignificance that saw many cars stripped or scraped at a higher ratio than any other prominent vehicle of that era.

    That leaves a very small number of "homoligation" cars with a great following and huge historical significance.

    Dr Georg Konradshiem offered me the car privately on January 26th just over 2 weeks ago for 279,000 Euro.

    It sold for less than that number.

    I think that the Carrera 2.7 MFI cars are still somewhat undervalued relative the 2.7 RS cars. The 3.0 Turbo market I understand to a point but the trajectory of prices for all Turbo's is unsustainable. It would be suicidal to enter the market at these levels.

    I was almost sure Konradsheim had a 1975 Turbo on his site for 385.000 euros or in that region. It was gone in one day. Must have been 279.000 then. Or did Registry Ryan write down the exact price perhaps for future reference?
