What is this car at Watkins Glen in 1961 ? #290 Lister Jaguar - Jefferson #310 Ferrari 250 TR - Hurt #5 Maserati 200 S - Brewer Image Unavailable, Please Login
pure guess: Vignale-bodied 375 ? looks as though it might be one of the Carrera Panamericana cars, '53 or '54.
Looking again, I believe you're right, Peter; the car lacks the high brow pointed leading edge of the front fender and the inboard headlights of the Vignales.
From Seth's description ("high brow pointed leading edge of the front fender and the inboard headlights"), I believe he's referring to the 340 Mexico berlinettas.

Hi, Nice picture gallery of this car being apparently now on sale by Talacrest. Talacrest Classic Ferrari | Ferrari 330 P Gallery Enjoy, Redfunbe
a Mini Moke w/ an aero kit?? I'm going to go out on a limb and declare that we had the fastest Moke of all time - won the PA Hillclimb championship for SCCA E Mod in 74/75. Bought used Can-AM qualifying tires from the Penske team. Short ratios - could lay rubber starting in third - for the sole purpose of going uphill extremely fast. Not a Ferrari, but shared garage space w the 500 Mondial for 20 years. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Surfers Paradise, 1966. The 250 LM is s/n 6321, driven by Jackie Stewart and Andy Buchanan for the win. The Mini Moke, driven by Charlie Smith and Barry Seaton, failed to finish.
Interesting photos, thank you. Can't remember this Daytona. Serial number ? Image Unavailable, Please Login
OMG Bryan; now with my greatest respect, I wonder how, with his very obvious psychic imbalance, the Admiral ever reached flag rank! ;-)
love the Daytona but when I was quite young I lusted after the Alfa Giulietta, being within my imagined financial capability.
No clue but there's several GTO's and a 330 LMB in those pics. I saw a picture in a book somewhere of a 330 LMB parked at Road America with IL. plates. My guess, it was the same one. I'd also love to know what the story is with the Shelby Daytona Coupe.
