In September I was honored to become a Ferrari owner acquiring a 2014 458 Italia... but the love was not remotely finished with this brand. Last month I was able to work a brilliant deal with a local dealer and secured my second F car: the amazing FF. I wont spend time talking about as you all are the experts and I have read and received some excellent advice here. Special thanks to Noblisse Oblige who answered multiple PM's and gave me honest feedback.

    Some early mods:

    Novitec Springs
    Capristo Exhaust
    Plasti Dip Badges
    Wheels painted in satin black

Cell phone pics (sorry I was messing with the settings and some sizes are bigger than others)

And my 458 which has some Novitec goodies as well (front lip, rear lip, wheels, suspension) and a Capristo exhaust with the test pipe to add:

Wonderful. Both are beautiful. It is interesting how the FF stance changes with a bit of lowering. Glad you could get away with that, and I am glad to have answered some Qs along the way.

Enjoy them in the best of health.

Thanks again sir... Im glad you were here.

I really didnt want the slammed look and by just swapping out the springs I got the desired form and kept the function. The Novitec springs are just private labled KW's by the way.

Oh I did add 17mm spacers all the way around since the wheel tuck was a little excessive.

    Congratulations. Beautiful cars.

The thing about the NR stuff is they actually test it out. So you do pay a premium but you also get the benefit of their making sure it works. I thought their springs are supplied by Eibach....

Thanks again for all the comments!! Love this board and the wealth of knowledge and respect delivered...

@Caeruleus11 - I agree the NR stuff is amazing. The 458 has their springs and its so compliant yet firm. Whats ironic about what you said with Eibach is the OEM springs had the Eibach stamp on them??

Great looking FF, Vic. Hope you get many miles of smiles. Colors, please? Bianco Avus, or maybe Bianco Italia? Cuoio Toscano interior?

    Again, thanks to all--- gratitude

I would welcome this--- its rare enough to see one FF let along 2 or more!!!

Whats up brother! I knew you got the FF since I saw some of your posts here but I didnt know you dumped the M6 AND the R8... I had to say it but I kind of miss my R8 V10.

Thank you!!! I have been smiling since day one with this car... I drove the GT3 today and came home to see the FF just waiting for a cruise. The exterior is indeed Bianco Avus and the interior is as you mentioned: Cuoio.

Ya man it was tough to walk away from the GT (Spyder more so).. but I just was not finding enough enjoyment from the car. It was a looker and had a magical engine note but just too tight and rough on the downtown streets to enjoy. I also found it a little uncomfortable for a 6'3 guy, could never get the seating right, dunno why. Also the GT didn't really have a cruise friendly setup, it was all about going hard and I just don't live in an area where that is possible (i.e. downtown Toronto). I was looking at GT4 the other day but I went and sat in a Cayman GTS and its just not me, so now its back to GT3 or if I can swing it a 458. By the time I am ready (next spring) might have to get something off the shelf instead of custom order we will see where it all lands. Again congrats on the stable and if you miss the V10 that new R8 sounds like a winner so far.

That new R8 is going to be incredible with 600 hp plus!! The GT3 is an amazing car (my 991) and I drove it about 200 miles this week and it just begs to be brutalized to 9k rpms. I sometimes feel like I have to be a little more careful to the 458 even though I shouldnt. The GT3 is just grab and go; to the market, mall, local restaurant etc... The 458 is an event, look at me car (I hate this at times), and I have to choose my parking spots a little more wisely. Its just slightly more fragile to me.
