Interesting and a different view. The rear side window seems better positioned while the whole thing avoids the excessive roundness of the Panamera.

I am really glad you guys liked renders. On other hand, I am really sad that Ferrari didnt make roof like this on first place. FF was so close to be one of most beautiful 2+2 GT`s ever made.

Here are ones showing whole car. I hope someone will posted them as attachments:

P.S. I am preparing one more render. I believe it will show roof line at best angle.

As noted earlier, aero lift may have been a factor. A more tapered roof line will make for more lift, relative to breaking it at an edge as Pininfarina did (see Bernoulli). For example the classic 911 egg shape is terrible for lift; that is why they need those big wings to keep the rear end planted. But it was penned by Porsche before we knew much about aerodynamics. Anyway Pininfarina solves the lift problem on the FF with that beautiful underbody wing at the rear. One wonders if simply making it bigger would have solved any additional lift from a more tapered roof.

I hope Ferrari engineers are making huge effort to enable more tapered roof for FF Modificata. You will see in few more renders that I will post how beautiful FF looks with tapered roof.

No thanks. I don't want to sacrifice the cargo space for that and I don't want to give the car more lift. It's a dumb idea and I have zero problems with the look of the car.

I want a little more power (why not?), updated electronic displays (like in 488 and LaFerrari) and refined 4 wheel drive. That's enough to get me interested in upgrading. I wouldn't mind if they removed the overbuilt rear console and reconfigured the gas tank to make the cargo area even more useful. I'm always up for more powerful headlights wouldn't suck either but the current lights work quite well. I believe 488 switched to brighter LED headlamps. I'd also love for them to get rid of that crappy passenger data display and the stupid plastic hole you get if you don't specify it. That was never a smart idea. More intuitive seat controls would also be good (this is specifically pertaining to lumbar and bolster controls).

But I LOVE the FF and I'm likely going to upgrade no matter what. It's such a great car!

I support the idea of an upgraded 4wd. At least I would like it to be functional at 5th gear

There is only one wish from me, move the car lift button to the right of the steering wheel next to the camera button like the F12.

Indeed - the passenger display is for 2 seat cars and scaring your passenger. They could put in a new cubby that can hold an iPhone 6 instead..

No interest in styling changes, lights are fine. Proper decent hi if options would be nice - car play is a gimmick in my view. The logic 7 system in my last 7 series was ten times better than what the ff has.

Lower fuel tank for improved cog and flat trunk area would be great.

I want a 'mute' button for the exhaust so I can start up in residential areas without being annoying or drawing attention. I'd take a 'loud' button too in the interests of balance though!

Thanks Rick;) though I wont be surprised if the FF successor has the laferrari drivetrain and an electric only mode. FF and f12 likely to be the last pure v12 cars I think...

I just solved the neighbours issue - bought a new house..

I don't see how that can carry any passengers, and the much valued cargo space of the FF is gone. No thanks.

Looks more like a Panamera now. much preferred the Scimitar kick, gives it style and character.

I doubt the roofline gets changed, it's pointless to get rid of the defining feature of the car. And I happen to think it looks beautiful as-is.

Also will absolutely not be getting a turbo engine, at least not for now. It will be likely getting a power bump (~700) and that's it...that's all it needs. 8 speed DCT rumor keeps popping up, that would be ideal. LED headlights are needed, better stereo, better infotainment, maybe radar cruise for long trips (and as its available, along with collision avoidance, on cars a tenth of the price). Maybe slight tweaks to awd, suspension, and brakes - should be perfect.
