They close the side window air scoop, and the side vent look huge from profile, but in front section that vent doesn't creant to much drag. on the sides of the nose on the hood there ar two vents, that draw air from the front spoiler and take it above.
Thanks for uploading Jaz. There is another one https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xap1/v/t1.0-9/10930111_10153226351661159_2276006697158768889_n.jpg?oh=a2a8973fe8651c89913808e79b7527a7&oe=55505337&__gda__=1431009890_0f0fd352c47b41ca047e85c8948c5505
No IMO the hole would look so much bigger Actually Testarosso style multiple fins would be interesting
You might be right about the vent looking to big without the fun. But then the 488 would look a little like a LaFerrari?
Well so far I prefer the looks of 458 over this....kinda looks like bastard stepchild of 458 and Lambo Gallardo breeding....
Maybe I am posting wrong question on wrong place, but why Ferrari decided to use exhaust pipes that are trademark of their hardcore V8 editions?
Unfortunately, the first live pictures don't improve the state of things. The side intake is beyond massive and the equally big scallop doesn't help. The rear looked somewhat better in the press release images. The front bonnet sculpting turns out to be just a shallow lowering. Pastel red looking better than metallic grey sums it up: something is terribly wrong with the shapes! IMHO it's a big mess "a la" F430, and it's even true that the front reminds of the Gallardo
Aventador SV have some problems before Geneva https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/q82/s720x720/11001850_908058539257842_475855910533355417_n.jpg?oh=22affb0b338e75420a4cc837268cc648&oe=5558C5E0&__gda__=1434683752_34907f1df4d0e1afa9c47b47b9c4c5e2
488Gtb Looks wicked! More sculpted, aggressive design versus Italia. Some aero efficiency improvements and some changes forced by using the twin-turbocharged unit. Overall I like that. It is simply a different character from its predecessor. The 458 is unforgettable.
i like my italia all the more now that I have seen these pics, what's up with the puny looking plenums in the engine? and the front looks like a lambo? whatever..
I love my 458 spider, however, IMHO 6 years of the same body style is looking a bit dated. The 488 is a nice refreshed look while maintaining the essence of this model.
So funny to hear the 458 owners bashing the 488. Ironic part is all of you will end up with one most likely in the the future. I think it looks A M A Z I N G. Come on Oct build date!
