In addition to paintwork, looks like the Miami car was a rental as well: Miami Exotic Car Rentals Ferrari Rental In Miami | Miami Ferrari Rentals I wonder if it is the car from the "Beiber" racing incident? In any case great looking car and probably a great considering there are hardly any of these cars on the market.
do yourselve(s) a favor and just assume you will lose money. You will. So what? If you want an investment car there are a ton of other options. 3x8s, air cooled Porsches etc. A 16M is on my short list for my personal year end bonus to myself. I have NO expectations that it will be an appreciating asset. Zilch. The 458s are about to take a mini-nose dive $$ as the replacement hits the market. Scuds and 16Ms will lose value as a result. 9/10 buyers with $200k + or - to blow on a used non warranty toy will buy a 458. That will put downward pricing pressure on Scuds and 16ms. How much? Who knows. Maybe very little. I have cars that I bought to enjoy. I didn't buy them as investments. They increased in value and now it makes little sense to drive them (or maybe even keep them). Just recently I bought a decent 328 for a fun car. Nothing fancy. In less than 4 months its increased in value by 50%. Poor me, right? Well, if it increases much more I am going to sell it and buy something else that I can drive w/o fear of massive $$ loss. Scuds and 16Ms are special cars. Love the fact that they are not coveted as collector cars.
Not sure I totally agree...I do believe that the 16M will be a collector car, but that will be several years from now. I certainly don't look at the 16M (or any contemporary car) as an investment - I drive mine for pure pleasure. Just ticked over 16k miles. However, it is interesting to see how limited production cars do in terms of value over time. I don't think the 458 replacement will effect the 16M market too much. Those that now own the 16M understand and appreciate the car, thus they hold onto the car, limiting the supply. Also it is the last of its breed of the fastest SCT with the F1 SF2 60 ms shifts - Oh what a feeling! Sent from my 16M
Short answer is who knows how 16M's will do in years to come, can only say that in the last 4 years they have risen close to 30% in the UK. For a car that is simply wonderful to drive it's an added bonus. 458's prices long since went south of Scud/16M prices so I don't see any effect from the 458 replacement.
I drive my 16M almost daily. While it's only a 16 mile round-trip commute, it's all twisties and elevation changes so I really get to feel the car perform. I am not worried about what will happen to the value of the car... mainly because I'm not sure I'll ever sell it

If you don't go via the direct link and search for the car on their site or look under certified pre owned or just pre-owned it does not turn up. http://www.ferrarili.com/all-inventory/index.htm?make=FERRARI&compositeType=certified&sortBy=year+asc& http://www.ferrarili.com/all-inventory/index.htm?compositeType=used&make=FERRARI

Whoa! That's the highest priced 16M I have seen currently. I wonder if they'll get close to asking. Does seem high priced for 3k miles. Yet supply seems low...any others for sale in the U.S.? Are values going up? Sent from my 16M
There was a 16m in Scottsdale that was listed at 295K. I think there was about 3 or 4 16Ms for sale when that car came and went.
