Why do some 360's have the yellow S/F Prancing Horse badge on the sides and some dont? I have noticed this on some 328's also. Was this an otpional thing or can they be installed aftermarket?

    They were a $1100 option.

You can get aftermarket but they aren't "set in" the way the originals are.

you can get aftermarket appliques. Or you can have your fenders removed and dimpled to accept the factory badges.

    Hi,
as Redduke has rightly pointed out they were an option as they were on the F430.Oddly enough you can have a Speciale with NO S/F shields....at no extra cost!LOL
I've had a 328 and I don't recall them being offered as an option, but please consider that many cars have stickers shields that are Original Ferrari parts!Having the metal/ceramic shields fitted on the "regular" fenders would be Tricky and they'd stand proud,on the other hand having the fenders embossed to fit them properly would cost you an arm and a leg!
    Cheers
    Manny
