Well it was a long 3 months to get the right wheels for my car. With the addition of the F355 Challenge car, we are now running 3 sets of challenge wheels in the family. One set is refinished and on my Berlinetta today. The other two sets are in race - not show condition which are still really great but show a bit of race day patina which is fine. We will be adding new slicks to one set and another set of p-zeros to another that we will likely restore to white... :)

So it is a happy day to be able to swap shoes any time between my brother and me. I think we are good to go in our garage.

Hopefully you like the new images - same favorite angles, new look. The challenge wheels in silver look great on the yellow cars especially. I am partial to white on the Rosso CORSA cars...

    More install photos on Wednesday...

Closeup. I like these stickers although they may be post 2000 era.

I may grab some old-school Speedline corse stickers to keep as backup. Black / yellow would also be great. Hard not to like the orange / blue with my color combo.

And yes, I installed the rubber rings on the newer-style center caps, to keep more crap out of the centers. It is a better fit I found.

This is the correct bolt needed for all 4 wheels - 20 qty in all.

These are just a couple mm longer than Oem bolts. These are from Hill engineering available from Ricambi.

If your bolts are shorter or have a different length hex, then start over.

    Bolts torqued to 85 pounds.

I should have gotten titanium but time to stop the bleeding somewhere... :)

Drive the car today on the new wheels and pilot super sports. Heaven.

For this set of tires I stuck with OEM both front and rear that I can swap over to my OEM non challenge rims.

    so I went with

    225/40 R18's front
    265/40 R18's Rear

For the next set of challenge rims, I am going to go with a set of Pirelli P Zero Rosso Corsa at

    235
    295

And the last set of challenge rims will get slicks at full challenge size

    '98 spec
    235/645x18
    295/670x18

    Or

    '95 spec
    245/645x18
    305/645x18

Nice! Check your clearances at full lock with 235s up front. And I thought Speedlines were unobtainable ;)

    Will definitely check.

The Challenge manual has those sizes in their regulation books. So I would think they would work just fine but the cars on the track are not likely to be at full lock right?

The speedlines are hard to find for sure...

Sweet! My OZs are 10.5 rear but with classic 55 mm lugbolts. Actually fits nicely with the lip of the 3 piece being vertically in line with the edge of the fender arc peak. All this with the tighter tapering fender toward the rear bumper. A good call on OZs part. A compromise between mud splash and rear stance.
