Got to love the 356 type 1 VW engine.

In the late 80's those VW engines, very cheap. They still made them new in Brazil. On the used market, almost cheaper to buy a used engine, then to fully service a VW bug or bus, engine.

The ad says it was built in 1989 and is a replica based on a 57 speedster. Lots of dealerships sell both real and replica 356 speedsters and 550 spyders side by side.

But the title says 911. That's more of why I'm bashing. I also believe the authorized dealers should not offer replicas at all.

Not sure why it matters they can do what they please.

I am unsure why this hurts you butt so much? Don't buy it and don't buy from them.

Doesn't really bug me. Just a Porsche dealer, should know what model to advertise it as. Unlike the U.S Autotrader, the Canadian edition is all years. It should be in the 356 section.

Plus I believe authorized dealers should only carry the cream of the crop in collectible and used cars. They should be above all other dealers. If I owned a dealership that's how Id do it. Under 100k kilometers, books and records, no accident history at a min. Don't meet this standard, wholesale it would go.
