    My car came with the spare wheel option but also has an inflator kit (the can of goo etc). As my car didn't have the jack kit (I got one after I purchased it) I was wondering if one of the previous owners put the inflator kit in there. Does anyone know for sure if the car originally came with it as I will sell it if it didn't?

    I'm pretty sure your car came with the inflator kit standard. The space saver wheel was an expensive option and most owners didn't go for it, from what I've heard around the traps. My 430 didn't come with either!! I had to source an original from the UK. Be glad you have the spare!

    I had to use mine the other day. Unlike other 'get you home' repair kits, this actually worked and sealed quite a big hole in the sidewall! I was really impressed. The problem with the spare is that it reduces the luggage capacity to an unacceptable extent. For those of us in Europe, that would stop us doing those trans-alpine trips that are the reason I have the car.

    But as the spare tire was factory option why would they put the inflator kit in as well?
