Having owned a 458 spider for all of 5 months it would seem that I'm loving being in the ferrari world.
I don't use the 458 as a DD , previously had Bentleys as my daily car, I sold the last one on buying the 458, I'm now looking out for a new DD although I will keep the spider
In the opinion of you owners ,I know some of you ladies and gents own both, which of the V12's are best suited for daily use.
I prefer the looks of the F12 but must admit that the FF has really grown on me , the practicality of the 4 seats would be good in the FF.
The 458 gets a lot of attention, all positive so far :0), and I think the FF would be a little more discrete as a DD cf the F12, both at my workplace and out and about.
    Thanks for the input

    cheers,Bob

How often do you think you will have more than 2 people in your car?
How often does your daily need to pick up slightly bulky items at stores, etc.?

Otherwise, I would see no difference, and just a choice of asthetics.

Would this be in addition to the 458?

As an addition I think the FF makes more sense because it gives you more versatility. 4 seats and most of the time AWD.

In lieu of, it gets tougher and I think the F12 is likely the better choice but you will want to be very judicious with all that power.

F12 then 458 will be less driven.
FF then you will be wanting f12.
So...i bought ff and f12 and sold 458 spyder in between.
Now I wonder if I kept 458 for fun car...but that thought is gone once you start driving FF. There are no other car like this one. Car with this much perfomance and character still rides better and smooter than rolls.

I have seen by not driven an F12 but own and daily drive FF, take it everywhere, snow, rain, hot, fog, school, super, asked, work etc, I beleive it is the best compromise of performance and usability in the market period!
You could take the FF coast to coast no problem and still feel you are in a high performance car, and beleive me it's not much slower than 458 and F12

Which do you prefer to drive, F12 or FF?

I keep hearing owners say FF is best car they have ever had, but I don't hear that as much in F12 threads....my F12 should be here in August.. :)

+1 . the F12 is a fantastic car very fast easy to drive everyday . however with all the snow we are experiencing here of late an FF would be pretty nice..
If you do not need the back seat or all wheel drive then the F12 is the one to get as I did.

The FF is a fantastic car, in summer, in winter and also with our dog. And our dog is a rottweiler. We make some changes, so his place is behind the frontseats.

FF can do whatever you ask it to do. A road b road bad weather anything.
In f12 it gets limited by weather and road condition.
So..one can have more chance of having fun in FF.
In other words, if weather is good and road is expected to be clear...I take f12.

It is hard to explain but let me put it this way.
I sometimes consider selling FF for cayenne turbo or somthing of family car for easy parking and less real life worries. However once I get in the FF, the thought is gone. There is no substitute...

I am not considering anything for F12 other than new and better next version of f12 or even f12 gto.

It is amazing though...FF is in the same league with lp640 performance wise..
    Also..awd more confidance inspiring.
    And that ride comfort!!!!!

So now with FF, F12, and gt3...life is good :)

With the FF you has a car for summer, winter and for a dog. Qur Rottweiler´s place is on the special prepared backseats. Great.

It looks like it to me, although there are three others that are close (metallizato, hyperion and a blue they used on Scuderias). Grigio alloy is more of a blue-silver - I think the second I posted is grigio alloy.
