Does the 77 308 GTB have only one Pininfarina badge on the drivers side, or one on each side? Thanks in advance anybody for your help in answering this.

Only one on all the cars (on the basis of the various spare parts catalogs I have). But, on the right side for the fist cars, on the left side then. Why ?

In my collection, the highest chassis No with logo at right is 20637 and the lowest chassis No with logo on the left is 20881.
    In between:????

Yes, and if it's RHD, it would be on the right side.

Should only be one, on the Driver's side (whatever that may be).

That actually seems more right and balance to me, but I don't think its original to have two.

Agreed it looks more balanced, but my 1977 only has one on the driver's side as well.

    They are Italian.

    NEED I say more?

I LOVE Italian. So does my wife.

And we keep our expectations in check.

Leonardo Fioravanti's Vetroresina came with 2 badges too. Well, I guess the exception for him did make sense.

Totally talking smack, here's my guess.

When Luigi was assembling the bodies, he just grabbed the next part in the bin which may or may not have been put in the correct order for the various RHD/LHD cars being then currently assembled. All holes were pre-drilled accordingly before the part being put in the assembly bins.

So after his two bottle of vino over spagetti lunch, let's just say his "Give-a-S**t" meter wasn't running on all cylinders. That and the fact he was Italian to begin with, and they just do things "differently."

Add them all together and "Ta-Da!"

The creation of the interesting little discrepencies we find on hand-built anythings. In this case, cars.

And if one looks closely, I bet some with two are actually aftermarket add-ons.
