    I sadly never got to meet the grand man himself, but have heard lots of colorful stories from people who did meet him. One of them was Michel Sauze, known for making some of the very best model cars in bronze. He met Ferruccio on a regular basis and always took a snapshot of Ferruccio and gave it back to him as a present the next time they met. Ferruccio never saw the attached photo, taken in December 1992. It's a powerful portrait.

    I bought a copyright from Peter to reproduce them in my Miura book The Lamborghini Miura Bible ? Joe Sackey | Joe Sackey Classics because I thought they were so epic! Just look at the admiration for his own car captured in the top image...

    Olivier took this picture from Facebook. This guy, Lamborghini Exclusive, watermarks all the pictures he posts with that 'painting' of a big bull like creature with a Ferrari horse in it's hand.
    Usually he puts it in a place that 'kind of blends in' with the picture; in this case on the rear wall.
    So, that is/was not there in reality, ever :)

    About the beginnings...
    What did Ferruccio LAMBORGHINI find when he "declutched" the Ferrari that he owned?
    A. The clutch was the same type and build with the ones used in he's tractors.
    B. a small flimsy clutch(like a FIAT one say) who couldn't cope with the forces of the V12.
    C.other.

    PS. Is it true, the Ferrari with the bad clutch was a white 250GTE belonging to Mrs. Lamborghini?

    B. yes, what so ever was the clutch supplier to Ferrari
    so to solve this, he has adapted the strong clutch of one of his tractor model to cope with the force of V12

    yes it was his white 250 GTE
