It's the new Sukhoi T-50. Once it gets operational next year it will be renamed as the Sukhoi SU-50.

@jpalmito: That poor Rafale doesn't stand a chance mate...

I wonder why it looks so much like the F22......

We are way off topic here but let's give it a try, asking for the patience of other members.

Actually, apart from the angular design of the surfaces which is a prerequisite for stealth purposes, it does not look like the F22. If anything it is an amalgamation of the MiG 1.42-44 (Mikoyan Project 1.44 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) which was way too ambitious for its own good something that eventually killed it as the unit cost was going to be ridiculous (350 million US per plane) and the familiar Sukhoi 27 family of jet fighters. In fact, the T-50 is superior to the F22 in many ways. It employs 3D thrust vectoring (the F22 makes do with only 2D), has a higher power/weight ratio and is both faster and more manoeuverable.

Yes, fast cars, fast jets, love em one and all.

My little bit of Sukhoi is my favourite garden spade, very light and very strong- pure titanium straight from the SU factory ;-)

The Russians have been at a higher level of thrust vector agility for some time now.

I'm sure the new Su-50 will do freakish things in the sky.

    Oh yeah.....LaFerrari is still spectacular!
