    Spectacular!!!
Jim, one question, please ... on the Racer magazine web site, the comments to the article on your car have an ongoing (and childishly written) debate about whether IMSA will permit it to run in its GT class. Is there any word from the horse's mouth on this possibility?
    Thanks!

The body on this car is so complicated.
It reminds me a little of the F80 concept. Very F1 inspired I think.
I love the nose and the gills.
The car looks concave from the side but is relatively straight down the sides from a top view perspective.
Front and rear wing are incredible
    Door hinges very slick.
    Fin looks awesome.

    Wow. No words.

I don't think I will ever see anything else like this in my lifetime. Very impressive.

Congratulations and thank you for taking all of us along for the ride.

Its an interesting car for a multiplicity of reasons.
If we go back tot he 50's fast road cars had racing roots in terms of design structure etc.
Sports racers and street cars shared the same bones.
We can even say this was the case between Nascar and certain street cars untill the early 70's.

Yet if we look at the advent of the mid engined era a divergance began to appear. The miura for one was racy looking mid engined car, yet it bore no real resembalnce to any race car, it was fun, astheicaly pleasing but ersatz.

After the GT40 which never made it as s treet car the history of the supercar was rewritten, the road cars were at best in the ersatz image of track cars, the road cars got ever more powerful, ever more divorced from reality, really devolving into two door luxo barges with shock styling for effect. Maybe the porche 911 stayed closest to its roots. But we see street cars demand comfort ATs ps leather weigth etc.

SCG 3 is inetresting not just in and of itself but perhaps even more so because it uses design from the track, not just astheticaly but funtionaly, this is somethign we have not seen in a few decades and hopefully its influence affects otehr cars..

Now we have a light car, with all the aero and dynamics for track that can work on street as well. Is it picking up where the MK3 GT40 left off. The Gt40 was too hard and crude for the street, but if SCG3 works an street its broken the mold of what has been a dead end for supercars. Even astheticaly we have a new wow look, finaly gettign away from wedges, retro or shock ugly.

Consider that to use really use a supercar/fast car you have to go to a track these days. There is an explosion of trackays to cater to enthusiasts. Yet nearly every street car is lackign when it comes to track, and the exotics are probably the worst offenders. Maybe we finaly have funtionaly a new pradigm, a light fast durable car fun on road and exceptional on track, its the way forward in the 21st century for performance driving, a new blueprint..

Jim, won't the rather large front lip spoiler make it hard for the car to drive on some rather non-carpet like roads? I am sure you have fitted lifters to the car like on P4/5C and P4/5, so I'm wondering that the ride height is with and without lifters.

    Is there much under-body aero?

Hmmm, I've read that other than leaky fuel tanks the original GT40 made a great road car, if otherwise simply too fast :D

Revisiting the very first page of this thread I wondered just how successful your design team were Jim in getting 003 to more the size of Dino Competizione rather than P4/5?

Poorly built, noisy, hot, too low, and in Mk3 guise not that fast.

Is the function of both windshield washer buttons the same? I can't recall seeing a car with two.

The graphics on the race version are sensational. Rarely do you see graphics actually enhance the lines of the car so well. Just awesome work.
