According to the Lovecars blog and their Instagram, the new Swedish monster will produce 1,500hp combined and will get to 400km/h (that’s 248mph!) in under 20 seconds. To get that into perspective a Ferrari LaFerrari scores a shocking 15sec for the 0-300km/h (0-187mph).
    - Koenigsegg says that they don’t like traditional hybrids and according to the leak, they use something called Koenigsegg Direct Drive which doesn’t make it a hybrid. The 9kWh battery pack is liquid cooled in order to provide enough juice to 700 electric horses.
It looks like electric part is done in cooperation with Rimac Automobili, guys that made that 1077HP electric monster, Rimac Concept_One.

It doesn't look Koenigsegg from the front and rear (too generic), but at least it's a new design vs. the CC models -> Agera evolution. Generic front. They are pushing their own limits all the time, have to admire that!

It manages 3.2 seconds between 150 to 250 Km/h, with a full 0-400 km/h sprint taking less than 20 seconds.

    Amazing!

I bet it needs a wing. Ask Stig.

Too complex for me to understand and too bland looking but i really appreciate what they do. I dont lust for one though.

I agree with you from word to word. For so small company, they are doing pretty insane things (for example, 3D priniting titanium parts for their cars).

Now that is a very tidy and neat design. Looks like if the Lamborghini's replacement for it's Gallardo and a Pagani Huayra had a kid this is the fruits of that labor.

Those two little black bits on the rear look like they are there for some purpose. I don't thing K-Segg would make a car that powerful and not give it some type of wing. Even aerodynamics on the bottom of the car alã La Ferrari!

I love Koenigsegg and what they bring to the market and the innovations they make. That drivetrain is very creative and I'd probably take it over any new supercar in production...

Nice looking clean design. The back of the car reminds me of some styling of the rear of a 250 gto

Blown diffuser exhaust? The end of the exhaust looks like fins.

Yeah, it's pretty crazy. They'll save even more weight if/when they incorporate the camless engine design into that car. Koenigsegg has been doing more innovation with sports cars than any other company imo. The hybrid systems in the LaF/P1/918 are nowhere near as original as this one.

Dont know what to make of kegg. Saw a show on velocity about how theyre made and was very impressive. Everything seemed made in house other than maybe tires. Mr kegg seems like a bond villain who went legit.

How do they compare w pagani?

I had the pleasure of meeting both a long time ago when they were introducing their first cars. IMO Kristian was a lot more down to earth, very pragmatic and incredibly smart. Horacio was really smart as well and passionate but had a certain aura of arrogance surrounding him. I would say that Koeniggseg is like McLaren, passionate about technology and obsessed with lightweight; Pagani is more like Lamborghini, it's all very dramatic and passion. I'd love to drive either of their cars for sure.
