After two full seasons my sills do have some scratches on them as can be expected. I have a ding/nick as well. They are a clear urethane finish and can be polished and treated like any other finished surface on the car.

I would think at some point they could be masked and sprayed with a new layer of urethane as well.

just give them a call (you can probably also PM Carbonio on F-chat for a quick reply).

I just received my set of Carbonio's last week! Very happy!

Waiting for the weather to warm up a bit to install. Hoping a combo of warmer weather and a heat gun will help loosen up the glue holding the stock sills down. My plan is to preserve/refurbish for someone that needs/wants the stock sills.

I have the Carbonio sills as well for but have had no scratches.
I have polished scratched carbon fiber in other applications with polishing compounds (and emery paper water sanding with extreme scratches) and have had no problem removing all scratches and bringing the panel back to new condition.

Hello there, I apologize for not replying earlier. I don't always get a chance to check F-Chat.
We have 348/355 sills in stock and ready to ship. You can always reach us at [email protected] or my email address is [email protected]

I also wanted to thank everyone for the kind words in regards to our sills.

I would encourage anyone with our sills to snap a few pics and post them for all to see.

Remove screws on sill slightly hidden by rubber moulding. Go into kitchen, borrow serrated knife, don't tell wife, and slide knife under sill and cut rubberized two sided tape used to hold down. Use aircraft paint remover and remove old paint. Sand prime sand and paint. Use the $600 saved to .....well buy beer. IMO

If you did that great, I have to replace mine even if with usd steel ones they were glued down in the past and I had to destroy them to get them off. They were pretty rusty in a few places as in holes, so not worth the effort to save.

Carbino Group buy come on and get us a discount kinda like holiday pricing. I'm sure you'll sell plenty of them.

make it like minimum 10 orders.

I just posted a set of used sills in the for sale ads if anyone has rusty sills and wants to replace them with stock. I decided to go with carbon fiber and was able to remove the originals without damaging them.

FWIW, I use a MasterBlaster when washing the car. It gets an amazing amount of water out from under the sill.
