Hey, do to our friendship with Just Aircraft I lucked into a chance meeting with none other than racing legend, TV personality, and Victory by Design star Alain de Cadenet. Check out this thread under the Aviation section in Fchat. Here are a few photos, many more on the Aviation thread.

That's pretty cool. I used to watch him on those TV shows he hosted on Speedvision when I was a kid.

I have a Private Pilot's license and used to fly Cessna 152 / 172, Piper Warrior / Archer, Secata TB-10, and others. Eventually became too expensive a hobby. Hope to resume again some day.

No speed limits and everyone is well trained and courteous. Recurrency is required at least every 2 years to ensure you continue to operate at a high level.

If only driving was regulated like flying.

Really liked Alain on the "Renaissance Man " shows. Especially the one on the Rolls -Royce Merlin v12 engine and planes

Good for her. IFR makes you a very good pilot, under any conditions.

Those gull-wing doors on the Socata definitely impressed the chicks. :) Regardless, the TB-10 had a constant-speed prop; one of my first complicated airplanes.
