Must say this year should be a real Event for a change
I'll be there as work in Geneva during the week. Will take plenty of pics - also trying to get into the enclosure as last year we had tickets as Ferrari owners... Asked my dealer for the same this year.
Bring your FOC card or show your invite, simple. From experience, Ferrari/Maserati are the strictest on stand access, I have never seen anyone without an invite let in (except for sick/disabled children etc.). It's easy to speak your way in to all the other stands.
You should obtain a letter with Q-code from your F dealer ...then you can get in the off F stand ... We were in 2 years ago with the Laf ... thousands outside ... and you inside ....
I know. I would attend the show on these days if I could... As mentioned, you either have the letter with the QR code from your dealer (don't need to print it out, my dealer sent me mine probably just a minute or two before entering the stand last year so I just gave them my iphone to scan), or you display your Ferrari Owners' Club membership card. I believe both options give you a +1.
Well, I'm at the show right now. Overall impression of the 488 is somewhat underwhelming. The Rosso car is very basic and poorly finished. The 'Silver' looks stunning and highly specced. Photos to follow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If anyone wants a photo of anything specific I'll be back on the stand shortly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here's the rear lights. Very daisy like. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KeftK8ryxM[/ame] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks, but difficult to tell from the photo if there is a passenger display above the glovebox or not. Did you see it?
I am just back from a Ferrari dealer party on the car show Yes...door handle on the grey model is even more "in your face"... I am still puzzled after seeing the car in flesh tonight. The overall design is impressive and nice from a distance but side scoops/air intakes are really massive, door handle seems out of place, inside the car my personal taste tells me that it is a bit more tortured and dull than the 458. Exterior design is driven by air needs of the turbo technology, inside it is driven by the need to make it different for the sake of making it different vis a vis new customers. Different and new does not always mean better, a matter of personal taste here. The engine was started at the end of tonight's party and revved up...well well, all I can say is that it didn't get a round of massive applause by the crowd (predominantly Ferrari owners); we will see about this with road test. 458 Tropheo will not like that sound I can guarantee Overall, a yes maybe why not later...needs to get used to it and get a feel for the 100 extra horsepower while driving it but not a yes I need one and want one now. This may change but my 458 Spider with remote opening valves will probably remain my mistress for a while... BBR Image Unavailable, Please Login
At speeds above 42kms the door handle adds an extra 0.5 psi of boost ;-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
