Sorry bothering you all once again with this tire subject.

I came up with these 2 only options:

Pirelli P7 or Yokohama AdvanSport. All original sizes. These are the only options available in Brazil.

Other than that I will have to import from US or UK.

The Pirelli has more "original look" but only that. Much less grip and skills.

The Yoko has a modern look that might conflicts with the vintage style of the 308. Other than that, is one of the best tires available in this measure, according to many rating websites.

Which one should I chose? Or should I import another model?

    Tx all again.

I looked at the Pirellis for my QV but bought Yokohama S-drives in the original 16" sizes. The Pirellis had a lower speed rating, seemed inferior performers, cost more and had a more restrictive temperate rating. Even in San Diego, it can dip into the 40s in the winter, and the Pirellis' performance apparently falls off considerably. The Yokohamas seemed more versatile, and they don't look out of place on the car.

What a shame they choose to use the legendary P7 nomenclature on such a mundane tire

It reminds me of when I once took de tomaso qvale Mangusta for a spin thinking to myself... Wth does this have to do with the original Mangusta?

funny you say that but I totally agree. the original p-7 was a game changing tire...a legend in my book.

I bought the yokohamas for my QV And dry sump 308. I think It a VERY good tire. Lots of grip And still not to rigid to compromise a little comfort. Definately buy again.

Thanks you all for the replies. I bought the Yoko. I wont risk my security in a second line tire.
