2015 Formula One Rolex Australian Grand Prix Qualifying

Ok the time soon arrives.....Thoughts? Predictions?

 

Well, we know the top 2 will be Hamilton and Rosberg (I can see either on pole). I'll take the WDC on pole, closely followed by Rosberg. The next six spots will be very interesting, but I'll go with my heart and put Vettel at 3rd, then Bottas, Ricciardo, Raikkonen, Massa and then Kvyat (until proven otherwise). I could also see Grosjean somehow popping into the mix from nowhere and Maldonado causing a red flag during the session.

(Note: I have no favorite between Vettel and Kimi. I want both to do well and only push Vet higher because he had been so used to winning and probably wants to feel that again)

As usual Ferrari's strong Friday's pace will vanish.

 

I expect Quali will be
Ham
Nico
Vettel
Bottas
Kimi

 

Kimi will prove himself 0.5 sec slower than Vettel, just as he did with Alonso.

 

I beg to differ.

Wasn't he closer to a second behind alonso sometimes? Don't think the difference between Kimi and vettel will be as pronounced. Kimi has good racecraft.

Mclaren out in q3 I bet

 

Kyvat had a wiring loom damaged and will be late getting out

 

Low grip track. 9C less than yesterday

 

Soft is the tire now. Kimi on softs so is Seb

 

Kimi better find some speed soon! Vettel is serious!

 

Maybe, just maybe, McLaren will make it out of Q1 after all.

 

Mercedes medium P1 - so much more to come from them, It will be a long season for the rest lol!

 

Bottas with medium tire vs Ferrari on softs.....Williams are faster this year to start.

 

Pretty ominous, but I'm surprised Ferrari is only doing 1:29 on softs. They were faster than that yesterday

 

It's amazing how far away Merc is...

 

Only rain will help the other teams tomorrow I think.
