As far as I know the the body of the 250 TR '59/'60 vs Dino 246 S/196 S are the same only the engines are different.

Is this true or are there some differences in measurements etc between the bodies of these cars??

The other things are technical? My point is the visible outside, as far as I can see is the only visible difference the 6 vs 12 cilinders which you can see through the bonnet.

    But maybe I am wrong.

Okay, let's play a game and see how many differences you can spot. :)

If you look carefully, you'll notice that the bodies are entirely different in shape and dimension:

    Ok, I am convinced.

    I looking for a 1/43 model of the #194 Dino 246 S, Targa Florio 1960.

Since there is no kit or model of this car I am considering to use a kit of 250 TR '59/60 as a base for the #194 D 246 S.

But seeing now the differences, this is not possible.

    Yes, I know these 2.

Problem: The Dallari kit is very rare and not to find. Maybe with some luck on Ebay.

The Faenza43 model is quit an expensive model (+ € 260,- on Ebay) for changing race numbers especially when the model the model has a clear coat.

Does someone know if the Faenza43 models have a clear coat and also a reseller with reasonable priced Faenza43 models?

    Thanks for the info.

I have contact with Angelo Monducci, the owner/builder of Faenza43. He is going to look if it is possible to change the race numbers.

He has also many interesting models for the Ferrari 1/43 collector.

Problem solved Angelo Monducci of Faenza43 is going to built a Dino 246 S #194! :)

So one model of my Targa Florio Ferrari collection, is missing. Ferrari 500 TRC #90, TF '58.

Maybe. But I think I am going to use a Renaissance kit for it, car #28 LM '57 is the same car as the #90 TF '58.
