488 GTB (458 replacement)

So ferrari would not honor the warranty worldwide? Here in trinidad we have a benz dealer. However, I ordered a benz from MB Germany and imported it. Got it for a decent amount under the retail price locally, and the local benz dealer still had to honor the warranty just as if it were bought from them.
I know there's no comparison with benz and ferrari, but it's just a thought.

If I were living in the USA and could just import a brand new ferrari from Europe for less, i would def do it. Once the USA dealers would see about it of course.

As for the resale, why would it be affected. It'd be a brand new ferrari with FSH. Why would it be any different?

Sorry for my ignorance, but I really don't know how things work in the USA wrt imports.

I've found the answer to my question. That is Patrick Tambay, former Ferrari F1 driver, visiting the factory this week. Apparently, he liked the look of the 488. See the article:

This car looks stunning in natural light especially With those wheels.

 

I hate to mention this again, but why do all the videos repeatedly drown out any engine noise with music if it is not a concern? If you look at previous models launch and behind the scene videos, engine noise is highlighted and exaggerated. I think the car looks good and know it will be ridiculously fast just curious why so much effort seems to be in place to keep us from hearing it.
