And by unbelievable, some of you will know exactly what I mean. Nick, (Ritedrive/Ambassador exotic cars) or whatever you want to be known or remembered as / is. It's people like you that give the term "car salesman" a bad name. Might as well fold it up as a sponsor here. Members here are not as stupid, nor as forgiving in these neck of the woods. Your credibility is...... well, shot! Read post #1 and #24 of this thread... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/480208-2005-ferrari-430-coupe-sale-6-speed-manual-2.html And now this.....only ONE week later. Ferrari 430 Berlinetta | eBay *Note: moderators/administrators; I think it's important to let members here know that this guy is not a man of his word. Just a typical salesman trying to make a quick buck at our expense (which by all means is fine in the car business.....when you're honest about it)!
Guys, hold on here. I was not trying to mislead anyone here. When I listed as personal car, I was clearly stating I bought this for myself. The car was purchased our of NY 2 weeks ago. I was not stating that I had the car since new. I am really sorry that it was taken out of context. I am keeping the car as I am in love with it. I will for sure be careful how I word things in the future. No lies or deception here" LOL, all deception all day!!!
I know some salesmen who tell the truth and I have bought cars from some very honourable ones .... unlike this guy it seems. Truly busted it would seem. Now let him defend his position.
Good catch! Based on his conduct I would never engage in a transaction with him or his company. 'If I can't trust what he's telling me, how I can rely on what he's selling to me?' Thanks
There is another major sponsor on here that completed negligible work for a friend of mine. Hopefully, if that is ever exposed the thread won't be closed.
Rob, I think he forgot "marks", looks like he was quoting from RiteDrive's other thread. It will be interesting to see how this all pans out either way...
Not a man of my word because I decided to post the car for sale? Please find something better to do with your time rather than attack me. I've even posted positive stuff on your car for sale. Are you making it a point to come after me for a reason? The car is for sale at a profit, I own the dealership and have the right to sell my cars. If I did not word the advertisement correctly then I apologize. I corrected the issue. I understand advertising the car as my personal car was a mistake but was not intended to mislead anyone. Let it go! This is Cyber bullying.
In my opinion, it is not easy earning someone's trust when it comes to buying or selling cars, homes etc... Establishing credibility starts with truthful advertising followed by good public relations. If you own a dealership or not the same rule are applied. Full transparency goes a long way!
Understood. A mistake was made. I am sorry! I should have never advertised the car as my personal car. Can we let it go?
I believe the mistake was backing out and stating that you decided to keep it and it is no longer for sale while continuing to actively advertise it.
That is not the mistake. It is just a part of it. Listing a car as personal when it clearly was bought very recently. Then saying it will be kept and advertise it elsewhere. These 2 things put together are deceiving and do not inspire trust which is very important when selling high priced goods over the net.
When I read cyber bullying I nearly choked on my coffee. Please. That was HILARIOUS. This is a train wreck.
At the end of the day, I have a 2005 Ferrari 430 Manual transmission 6 speed car with no paintwork, Tan dash, fresh service, and PRISTINE condition with 8k miles. If I am a used car scumbag, lair, what ever you want to call me so be it. The car is for sale if anyone is interested and if you can't trust my description, get a PPI done before purchasing. I hope you all have an amazing day! http://www.ritedrive.com/vehicle/2005-ferrari-430-for-sale-14703/
^*liar - I before A #Genius#heatofthemoment#battlescars Hahah Changed your mind more than you change your underwear.. Well played; actually having the tenacity to re-list for sale and act in accordance to what others said you would even before you made your move..
WHile I agree it was a tad shady to list as a personal car (implies to me a car that is taken care of much better than a recent auction type of pick up) while it in fact was just picked up and possibly from an auction I think we have all seen far worse. There are normal users here that buy a car and say they will never sell and then the car is listed a few months later. I think the seller has learned a lesson and hopefully uses it going forward. No reason to keep piling on. No, I don't know the seller, just seen many horrible transactions with real scumbag dealers and compared to this infraction I would say this was on the small side.
