No surprise to see another ignorant post from you attacking McLaren.

F1 GTR chassis 06R raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995 wearing the Yellow/Green Harrod's livery that was duplicated on the presentation version of the P1 GTR. During that race this F1 GTR wore number 51 and crossed the line in 3rd place overall.

Ahhh, but this is a forum for Ferrari lovers, not denigrators. Yes I am a real fan, always have been, always will be.

As to fear... What fear? I raced last year in the Blancpain Endurance Championship - in a Ferrari, of course, and wearing the number 51 - against McLaren, Audi, BMW the occasional Porsche and whatever else came along in what is the most competitive GT3 championship in the world. I finished on the podium in 4 out of 5 races, won the big one - 24 hours of Spa with 5 laps over the 2nd placed guy in what was considered the most difficult endurance race of the year - and went on to win the Championship.

I'm not the best racing driver out there but I had a big advantage: I drove a Ferrari ....but please don't suggest fear!!!

McLaren have NEVER won anything other than the odd 3 hour race because the cars never make it to the finish... It was Enzo Ferrari who said that to finish first, first you must finish...I guess Ron forgot to copy that particular aspect.....

 

Yesterday and today this years' first official test of Corse Clienti took part in Mugello. Any Fchatter was there or participated? Any photos from this event? Other than these

 

Don't think it was Enzo who said that first.

I think it is pretty immature to keep dumping on McLaren like this. Their F1 team has a pretty good track record, but yes admittedly is going through a bad patch, and also is the second oldest team involved.

False. There's silver arrow (mercedes), auto union (audi), ferrari, porsche, mclaren.

The F1 championship began in 1950.

 

Thank you and Alfa Romeo and Lancia no longer compete so McLaren is the second oldest contiguous F1 entry.
