Wish I knew where I could send a "Howdy" card/letter to Michael and his family and they would actually get it.

Ill bet you can google his mansion & get an address. Anyway, we're talking about Michael Schumacher ... like Santa Claus, I'll bet if you send it addressed to the correct town/village it will get to his family.
Good luck, and let us know if you hear anything.

Manager Schumacher: "His condition is improving" - F1Today.net Formula 1 news

Michael Schumacher's manager says the condition of the seven time world champion is "improving". Sabine Kehm, who is now guiding Schumacher's son Mick on his first steps in single seaters, appeared in the Barcelona paddock ahead of the Spanish grand prix.

When asked about the mostly unknown fate of F1's most successful driver ever, she was quoted by Sky Italia: "There are small improvements, but the road is still very long."

The latest news about 46-year-old former Ferrari and Mercedes driver Schumacher is that his wife Corinna has sold his private jet and favourite holiday home in Norway. The usually well-connected German weekly Bunte claims she made the decision "When it became clear that the old Schumi perhaps would never return".

Now, the world is closely watching the early development of Schumacher's successor, his 16-year-old son Mick.

Toro Rosso star Carlos Sainz, another son of a famous father, sympathises with motor racing's latest 'junior'.

"The truth is that it hurt me," he told France's L'Equipe when asked what having a famous father was like as he rose through the ranks.

"At the track, all of my competitors dreamed of beating the son of Carlos Sainz. I imagine it is the same for Schumacher's son now.

"These are difficult moments for him because he is still a child. But in the end it was a good thing for me," Sainz added, "because it made me stronger."

If Sabine says there's improvements, albeit a little, these are still good news. The doctor who operated on MS said he needs around 3 years for improvements. We are all halfway there now.

If anyone can pull through this, is definitely Schumi.

Don't worry about Daily Mail/Mirror type stories. Always looking for the most sensational headline with little to no facts, and if they can't find anything exciting, they'll make it up as they go along!

Halfway to what? Propping him up in a wheelchair to gaze out a window like a mannequin in Macy's storefront? You can hope and pray all you want and it doesn't hurt but to think schumi is going to represent even 30% of what he was is just folly.

So the selling off of the properties and jet are fake? And every story is a lie that speaks negatively about MS's condition? Do you see Schumacher himself getting up and announcing his recovery on tv? If not then why do you think that is so?

    Of course not.

What possible use do they have for holiday homes and a private jet right now?

All I'm saying is ignore the sensationalist headlines. They write it in such a way as if they have inside information, which they 99% of the time just don't. They have zero credibility. Keeping a jet parked for over a year becomes a VERY expensive exercise. These things NEED use. They're even more expensive sitting doing nothing than fly them about.

FWIW the chance that Shumi has to dance around on TV is slim. Even if he is wheelchair bound I hope he'll be able to speak and see his kids grow up properly. It sucks, but it's something and he'll be able to live a fairly reasonable live that way.

Women plan for the long term more so than males. The sales are indicative of change and permanently. The cars and other collections might be next??

The family must plan for a new reality. No shock at all and Kehm's comments are ambiguous and not much for news.

IMO the sales are "normal developments"....you don't need toys like that when continued care needs funding.

I would think the ski chalet would have bad memories too.
I can't see the family using it truthfully.
    No matter what happens.

That article writes as if she has no business savvy, which is untrue.
She has horse related ventures all her own.

The horse didn't like riding in the jet!
(Bad Lyle Lovett based humor....a song about riding his horse on his boat all at the same time)
