Well i was supposed to get my own birthday present (current FF with my new novitec wheels), but i received a call yesterday from ferrari that the wheels are to close, so its impossible to drive. Well they are sending me the car back with normal tires. What i dont get is how can this happen with novitec , my car is not even with lower springs it was just a thing of getting the tyres right. anyway here two pics of my tragedy:).

Maybe they thought you wanted the slammed/no suspension/stance edition:)?

Who knows what previous owner did with suspension on the car... This could be connected to the noises you hear on the back.

I have the Novitec setup on my 458- zero issues = perfect fitment

Something is off here as they did their R and D on the FF as well. Maybe your retailer set you up wrong?

Your car looks way lower than stock. You are tucking tire inside your wheelwell which means you are lowered 1-2". The stock suspension is height adjustable so that is a strong possibility. Looks like you just need a slight fender roll to me :)

Hope your windows are blacked out and you have some seriously loud speakers to go with that look. You will also need to learn how to do that thing they do with their hands out the window while saying "heh bro", and not of course going over walking pace :D

Are the wheels in the last pic the stock FF wheels? If so, I'd say that car is lowered at least 40mm. I honestly don't think Novitec is in the wrong. What is the offset of the wheels you have? The Novitec wheels offered for the FF are not customized, they are as have been said, R&D'd to fit the car. If your dealer think that stance is stock and you have odd noises from the rear, I'd find someone else to have a look at your chassis, because something sounds off.

thank you dk308 i wil do that..there is another dealer here in zurich that is good, and yes the pic is with original FF wheels, the sound at the back got fixed, it was something loose but nothing to do with suspension.
I will check also what you mention about the 40 mm, anyway i hope nothing is wrong because i love this car.

How do you adjust the height on stock suspension?

It's not really important whether it's lowered 40 mm or 60 mm. Fact is, that the car seems to lowered substantially, and I can't for the life of me, not understand why a Ferrari dealer/shop can't see that, and then raise the car either by raising it on the stock springs or re-install stock springs if aftermarket lowering springs have been used. I don't know what the limit is for lowering an FF on stock springs, but it looks quite low, and perhaps it does not even sit on stock springs.

In any case, the fenderlip/tyre gap is way less than on a stock height FF. I've posted a pic below (not my car). Look at how that sits compared to yours.

Take the car to that other shop - hopefully they know what they are doing. Have it raised and re-aligned to stock spec.

In my opinion that looks normal standard factory height, not lowered. Not a milimetre lower tan the white show car just above this post. Just for reference and remember it's my personal impression.

Now, the best part is this problem of yours really can't be a complicated issue, this has to be very simple. I guess any shop, even many of us, could simply take a look at your setup and know what's going on. In the end it can only be about tire/wheel sizes and suspension type and setup, whether correctly installed or not.

Going over the opening post again, if this problem showed after just swapping wheels/tires then the problem is isolated, there has to be a mixup with sizes...

Edit (sorry): or else they messed up something in the suspension when changing wheels... according to the new tire sizes vs. stock the variation is minimal, should make very little difference.

Get to know your local wheel repair guy well. I've had to have the wheels on our car repaired five times in two years. Parallel parking this beast can be a bit trying.

While some guys think capristo exhaust is a must-have item, some of us who parallel park our cars regularly might be more inclined to go with more practical accessories. I'm tempted to get a set of these from the Crutchfield catalog...

Yeah that would have been horrible if that was with your Novitec Wheels :(

Regardless - Novitec's fitments are pretty spot on. I have done countless sets. I have a feeling that A) they sent the wrong set of wheels to you, or B) the dealer is nervous of anything different than OEM. LOL

Either way - I can not wait to see how good this thing looks when finished. :)
