With what has been going on in the UFC lately, sadly it is becoming more and more like the WWE. In fact, they're even cross promoting with the WWE nowadays. See Rousey at Wrestlemainia.
IMHO the The UFC is not MMA anymore it is MME...Mixed Martial Entertainment. When a fighter gets a title shot based on the perfomance of his mouth and not the quality of who they beat to get the shot, that is for entertainment. How bout beat a #1 or a #2 first???
I hope JA KTFO that obnoxious McGreggor. He is the most insulting and disrespectful fighter out there. At least Sonnen was witty and funny. CM is just a disrespectful azzhole.

Perhaps, but McGregor is an incredible talent. I would not at all be surprised if he takes Aldo's belt away.

So if you don't think McGregor deserves it, who should get the next shot? Aldo's already fought Mendes twice, so I have no desire to see them fight again just yet. He has fought Egdar, Lamas, and Swanson as well. McGregor makes the most sense.

I'm fine with McGregor challenging for the title. He deserves it. That being said, I HOPE he gets his AZZ kicked!
As for Joanna Jedrzejczyk, No Way could I see her go up in weight to fight Rousey. That's 20lbs. For a girl to do that is almost impossible.

How bout any title challenger in any weight class fight and beat a current #1 or at least a #2 ranked before he gets a title shot? But like I said the UFC is more entertainment ie. a money making juggernaut than true mixed martial arts.

Not to mention UFC has fed CM the perfect match ups for him to beat. The only wrestler he fought was ranked what 10 or 11 at best? Let's see CM beat Mendes or Lamas before he takes on a title shot. UFC didn't let that happen because there was a good chance it would have burst the CM bubble they seem to love so much.

You still haven't answered my question: if you don't feel McGregor should get the next shot, who should it be then? I am not looking for a description of who it should be, I want a name.......

Agreed. Although I somewhat like McGregor, he has no shot against Aldo, sorry.

Rousey is not getting beat, at least not by the current crop.

+1 on both points although I hate Conor.

    Decent free card this weekend.

I'm going Dragon, Jacare and Blessed. Big fan of Rockhold though,he would smoke that steroid monkey Belfort in a rematch with WADA testing. I think a Jacare-Rockhold eliminator match for shot against Weidman, assuming all 3 win their next fights, would be intriguing.

I do like him, but I do think he needs to get control - NOW. He's acting like an imbecile and when it impacts your professional life, you have problems. Get it under control.

He should be stripped, it's a wake up call. Up to him to decide whether he likes substances better than he likes cash. As someone that has faced a similar decision, I went with cash, and it was the much better choice!

Hard to believe Sonnen nailed the JJ/ AJ fight not happening a few weeks ago. Wow.
Good luck to DC. I'm taking AJ in this one.

I was really looking forward to Jones/Johnson. I think Rumble would have really taken it to Jones. Oh well, Cormier/Johnson is interesting as well.

I wonder if we have seen the last of Jones in the UFC.......

This Bones sh-t is scarily reminiscent of Mike Tyson but Tyson was a man with the brain of a child getting raped by Don King.

I hate Bones more because with his Biblical tattoos and inscription on his shorts he's a massive hypocrite and that's the worst kind of human. Remember when he was unknowingly being recorded in the DC TV interview? That's his true color and it's diabolical.

Hope he gets cut from the UFC, injuring a pregnant woman fleeing the scene of the crime then returning for his dirty cash is a new low. I thought he was stupid for bumping rails one month before his DC fight, he's made too many mistakes for too long at a young age and because of cash Dana has looked the other way. That one day stint in rehab? B-tch please.

As for DC vs Rumble big M-E-H. The recent string of cancelled injuries fights (is Cain or Dominick alive?) has my enthusiasm waning and I speak with my wallet. Went for drinks instead of wasting $60 to see DJ win yet again and past their primes Bisping and Rampage earn their paycheck then talking about being contenders after one win. You shut your mouth!

One good thing is fighters are changing their approach to risking injury in training camp. AKA needs to rethink Cains fight preparation, Ruthless told Joe Rogan he's able to peak so late in his career because he didn't take so much punishment in the gym when he was yoinger. Shadow boxing and hitting pads instead of full on sparring sessions may be the way to go.

Thought the UFC 187 card was going to be the best in years.

At least dos anjos ruined Jersey Shore Pettis I hate that clown with his landing strip facial hair and will cherish that outcome for the rest of 2015.

Yup, the last guy out was the worst, nothing more than a gang fight.... They should at least have the guy that wins sit it out and wait for the others

Sick card this past weekend. Watched it live and the immediate replay, those 6 hours was worth $59.99.

Benavidez looked great. Unfortunately, he's JV to DJ's Varsity so looks like Dodson gets the title shot.

Arlovski v Hapa FOTY so far! That one round was so epic I was screaming at the top of my lungs. So stoked to see Pitbull back, I watched him fight live on the local circuit back in 2011 and Big John was the ref LOL. Talk about a tale of redemption.

Cerrone my boy! He gets Dos Anjos in a match-up of primo Muay Thai technicians. Love Dos Anjos' Evolve MMA-style of Muay Thai. He showed how it's done dismantling Jersey Shore Pettis.

Weidman! I was a believer after 1st Silva fight. Hope everyone else is a believer after he crushed the steroid monkey Belfort. Did you see Vitor's man boobs? That's what happens when TRT is no bueno.

Don't want to wait for December in MSG to see him fight Rockhold but looks like that's how it's going to shake out.

Unless Rockhold fights Jacare 1st but why would Rockhold do that if he gets Weidman?

DC, jelly roll belly action. Crazy how he came back from Rumble's big knockdown and showed how ground and pound is done. And he finished with the rear-naked. Champions that are finishers deserve their belt, just like Dillashaw.

The elephant in the room is Bones but I don't give a f-ck about that man was hoping he would get cut from the UFC but money is more important than ethics for Zuffa.

Not sure who DC fights next. Bader went WWE Bushleague at the post-fight conference.

But Gustaffson got ruined by Rumble, does he deserve title shot?

My Muay Thai sensei cornered an 18 y/o girl making her pro debut at One FC in Singapore. Sick armbar FTW. He's good friends with Humes and got to hang with him and Rich Franklin who are VPs for ONE FC.

Would love to train at Evolve on Orchard Road. Master Chatri is the man.

Werdum is always dangerous given his jiu-jitsu, but his stand up has improved incredibly. Cain reminds me of Tyson - if you "bully" him back, you can wear him down and Werdum definitely took it to him.
