That's what was posted here. That it went for full price and sold in one day. Is it stated somewhere what it went for?

I know what lurks in its history from long ago. I bought that car with 2000 miles on it several years ago. Had it for a year and put couple thousand more miles on it. Traded it to Lambo Chicago.

Was this car sold in the recent past, the rear end and engine bay colors seem familiar.

Found it -- topcabron's car on LPower, sold to oufan at the end of 2014. Sweet car, I wish I was looking at it when the market was lower...

lol....the Diablo market is so small that you can recognize previous owners by the little things they had or did to their cars.

I am shocked to see that car back up for sale.

This one just popped back up too. The white '91 with VT badges...it's been for sale 3 different times in 3 different places with 3 different price points over the past year.

No, this was the white one that was up for auction with a red '91 (same odd VT badging) out of the John Scotti collection.

1991 Lamborghini Diablo - Auburn Spring

A dealer in CA bought the white one...when I called he could not explain the VT badge.

Not so shocking. He freely admitted when he bought it that it was for investment purposes. Appears the time to cash in just happens to be now. Based on the ask it may indeed be time.

I believe his comment that I quoted was attributed to the black 1992.

As per my phone call to SAA: Despite the name, items "offered are not seized"; no legal entanglement.

Car on consignment; recent pictures, local to SAA, No ppi allowed, no pics of Title....although rep stated car has "clean/transferable title" eg no liens etc. "winner" will be put into contact with owner to finalize. Estimate $135-145k

Car looks very clean in pics which are reported to have been taken "recently".

Now has vanished, is now gone? That was the first Diablo I ever sat in, at the Auburn auction.

Looks like it is strong demand for the 2wd in Europe.

Just a couple of months ago they cost from 80.000 eur, now they start at 127.000 Euro and only a few below 150.000 Euro mark.

Guess the 2wd soon will be 200.000 Euro + based the development last month.

The rising prices of the Testarossa and the high price on the 25th are some of the reasons why the focus now turns to the early Diablo.

Very true, I have driven in this year 4200km's around Europe to see 2wd Diablo's, first of all it is very hard to get to see actual car before they are gone and what are left now have seen fair share of the world in all aspects...
Then there are these dealers; if you ask to see car, they say "car is sold" but after few days it's back on sale with 10k-20k more asking price. I suspect these car are long gone and kept to sale so when some private person lay car on sale too cheap, dealers run to buy it.

actual cars for sale is far less then seems at firts look. 140k€ is cheapest one for sale in Europe right now and around five actual real cars.

I am very lucky to own one, bought one last summer and diablo is worth it! (that's why I try to buy second one)

Even Roy hardly has any inventory lol

    Thanks for the info!

Do you happen to know why the car had VT badges?

I was told that the former owner wanted the car to look like the newer 1993+ Lamborghini model.
