F355 in rosso barchetta

We have an fchat member here who lives in NJ who has that same car.

 

It looks even better in person. A fellow Seattle owner has one in the color combo. 98 F1 I believe. It is stunning.

 

I've had my Rosso Barchetta car for 8 years now and still think it's the best color for these cars.

The name has been applied to a lot of different reds.

 

I only know of one Rossa Corsa. If there are more than one I'm not aware of them.

I find the corsa red to be more pale or orange for me. I have seen barchetta red in person and it looks great. In the sun it looks like a correct red and in the garage is looks quite dark. Fiorano red is nice as well which is more burnt orange/burg i suppose. These are under ordered colors. I do - its just a thing of mine - tend to like to see cars in the proper racing colors for country of origin but could never get behind rosso corsa. I would get a rosso barchetta car though and feel that all is right in having a red italian car.

Of course i own 3 black and 3 silver cars - but my only colored car is a swatters 355 - there are some great colors that are less frequently ordered that work quite well. Hats off to the people (or dealers i guess) ordering these colors.

Some seem confused by that concept.

I agree.

And those 20+ shades varied greatly at the extreme ends.

 

Funny, so confusing that two people who understand it can't communicate it.
