When I was preparing my Mondial yesterday for the center pipes I noticed that our babies have adjustable shocks. Has anyone played with these before? Meaning in lowering the Mondi.

I guess it is taking it off and turn the mount on top to lower things?

I didn't know this but having recently taken these off my car I suspect that this is damping and not height adjustable.

For that price one would think that the springs come with it, but my guess is they don't. Do you think they'll fill the Mondial?

BTW, are Konis still made in Holland? I bought a set for my TR8 while there in the 80s.

Hey MvT as I explained in my pm, I didn't wan to use coil overs when I lowered Kato as my insurance regarded it as a modification and would load my policy. I got springs made instead and these are the same as the original to look at except 2 inches lower.

Just read it Bell! I was actually looking for springs but there are actually no shorter springs for these shocks. Perhaps custom made ones are the easiest way to go indeed. It's for later anyway.

Wade, Konis are still made in Holland indeed.

We have a new breed "made in Holland" player, which is IMHO far better and provides much more options. They also do individual shocks based on what you want, which is immediately their strength in doing business. I believe the whole UN's (United Nations') fleet is running on Reiger dampers and there are more examples, Dakar, Rally etc.

Reiger is catching up fast I guess.. real fast!
