Not sure if this will be useful or not but I thought id give it a try. My thought is to have this thread as more of a resource where owners can post what mods they have done to their Speciale's. Maybe a short review of the results and links to products and vendors.

So any owners that have done any mods... please post!

We recently built a Rosso Corsa 2014 458 Speciale for a client with the following Mod's

    -21" Front & 22" Rear ADV1 05CS Wheels in Satin Bronze Finish
    -Novitec Lowering Spring Set
    -Novitec ECU Upgrade
    -Novitec Exhaust System (ordered)

What a difference it made. The throttle response was much improved. The Noselift remained in-tact so there was no issues at all, and the overall appearance was stunning.

I know many of you are not a fan of modding a Speciale, or the 21/22 setup, but at the end of the day, this is just one of the infinite setups you can do on a Speciale (or standard 458.) After all.... this thread was titled "Speciale Modifications thread" hahaha

I spoke to Lance at GT concepts who installed the fog light. He said they programmed it to blink 3 times each time the brake pedal is pressed.

He said he would possibly build a complete kit enough people are interested.

    His email is [email protected].

Visited my car at Protective car Solutions in Santa Ana Protective Film Solutions

Top notch work! I couldn't recommend them enough. This is the first time I have done the ClearPlex windshield treatment Invisible Windshield Protection Films and Screen Protectors - ClearPlex. Sitting in the car, if you look for a distortion you can see it but I would say its very clear and hardly noticeable. After ruining the windshield in my last Italia at the track, this is a no brainer. The installed cost was $550.00.

The second procedure was adding the Xpel protective film. I did the entire front of the car including the intake vents and lower active aero bits. We also did the rocker panels and small flaps. I was told if I get any small dings or scratches at the track, I just pour very hot water on the area and it will heal itself. This ran $2,200.00 for the front and $500.00 for rockers.

Also it was the first time I saw the car after it left the race shop. They said they lowered it roughly 20mm, Again this was done for a track setup and not lowered really low like some cars for just asthetics. I couldn't wait to hear the new exhaust so we fired it up and holy s**t it sounds insane! I can't wait to get it home and give it a proper road test!!!

Looks great Robert. Is there someone in particular I should ask for at Protective Film Solutions?

Nice ;) I've also sent an email to Lance since my question is installation outside U.S. I'm sure in Europe if you go to a Ferrari dealer with this kit they won't install it....

How much 'stiffer' are the lowering springs over the stock Speciale versions?
