This is more of what we're looking for. Something that ready to go under the knife. 1971 Lamborghini Espada That brown S3 is sold.
Wait for a collapse of the market. Bad time to be buying basket cases. You remember that green S1 at Gullwing with the Corvette engine? The matching engine probably wasn't going to be found but that was the car and price for what you want IMHO. something different: Lamborghini Espada with a Chevy V8. | IEDEI There's a S2 with VIP interior and a 440 V8 with an ugly hood scoop somewhere in PA? Try Joe Corbacio, he might have a bead on where that car is. Here's some links: Lamborghini Espada spotted in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 09/16/2012 Lamborghini Espada spotted in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 09/09/2012, photo 2 Lamborghini Espada spotted in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 09/09/2012
Please send me phone number and total costs experienced. I definitely want to avoid making the more expensive experience which Peter seems to be seeking.

Does anyone know VIN # of the Espadas that were on display in Stuttgart recently (on Klima Lounge stand) ?
#7356, ex Klima Lounge, sold at Stuttgart Retro Classic... for few pennies... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks beautiful. Do you know the color of that car? It looks a lot like mine but mine is not a factory color and I'd like to re-do it in the correct color at some point.
It did in the photos I saw? No I don't the production number but I fully understand why they stop using them given how they implemented them.
My car is body #54 and I was told there were not that many more after it that got the window slats. I've been trying to get a definitive answer on that question myself.
Ah Ah, you fall into the trap... picture you speak about is below... it was stickers as you can notice closely, last year at Essen Techno Classica. below 2nd pic of real slats, easy to remove, just unbolt. My belief is most of S1 got it, but people removed then because it is so difficult to remove dust from the rear glass while cleaning it ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
That car is for sale again, now with another seller but still in the same condition. Asking price is 74,900 USD
BTW, I like on top the 3rd rear stop light, design in the Miura spirit... Image Unavailable, Please Login
They did go to an amazing amount of trouble to do all of this. I wonder when it was done and where they got it? BTW, the car is an automatic. Not something you see everyday. V12 badge on the rear is uber rare! Over here we have a long time automotive catalog store, well known, called JC Whitney. Over priced junk of all sorts. It's been around for many, many years. Looks like stuff directly from them. Only a raccoon tail for antenna is missing to make this one "fully pimped out". In this photo you can see the custom steering wheel treatment and those special factory optional gold lame junk pockets on the doors. This is one of the first Espadas I ever looked at once I was on the purchase hunt (ex Gullwing Motors), this and the glass roof Espada. Extra vents in the hood too! At least the expansion tank looks fresh ... At an ask of $74,900 today I do hope it looks much better now? Anyone have a current link?
