Hmmm... (I hope this isn't a repost) https://www.yahoo.com/autos/s/justin-bieber-adds-ferrari-laferrari-collection-180055931.html Justin Bieber Has Bought A LaFerrari .
"the chances are very high - based on the fact that Bieber likes to get high - that the LaFerrari won’t be used or treated like the automotive hero that it is. Then there’s the man’s shady record when it comes to DUIs and street racing, both of which make for a bad recipe when behind the wheel of a 950bhp hypercar." .
Any wagers on how many black and whites will be in pursuit when he stuffs it? I can't wait for the news chopper video.
This is yet another reason why I wish they would regulate high-performance sports cars like they do airplanes - you need to qualify by skill to operate them.
I also say good for him - didn't read the article so I wonder if he bought one directly from Ferrari or ended up buying one "second hand" because he has the money. But, even though it's good for him, it's probably bad news for the car.
Half the guys that own High Performance sports cars would be stuck with a prius if that was the case. lol
It's just a shame when other long-time loyal owners whom are much more deserving of a LaFerrari see one getting offered to someone only because they are famous, but have only owned one or two Ferraris. Especially when that someone is a young punk like him.
No hate, just cringes from the crowd that he could likely trash-out a piece of automotive art...based on his past actions. Any hate is not because of jealousy that he bought a LaFerrari...that stems from people that just don't like him at all because they feel he is an over-rated, talent-less celebrity . .
Well then there is his sociopathic behavior. People have not advocated his deportation because of jealousy.
Not hate but he has proven to be a prick more than once (spitting on fans, his cocky message left at the Ann Frank memorial, his neighbors was threatened by his body guards and called "little jew")...and that's what i got from facebook newsfeed over the years. Im sure there is much more.
Peeing into a mop bucket at a club in Miami....a bucket some poor minimum wage schlub will have to deal with....while yucking it up with his entourage.
Did you hear what Jeff Ross said about him at the Justin Bieber roast? I won't repeat it here because I don't want to offend anyone. If you are Interested please pm me. Thanks.
How you and I view deservedness, and how Ferrari views who is deserving and why, could not only be different, but could also be polar opposites. It's no surprise that the only thing that Ferrari values more than money, is the deep pockets from which that money originates. Bieber is worth around $200MM, and that's a higher net worth than the average Ferrari owner. I can see Ferrari offering Bieber a LaFerrari provided he signs one of those age old contracts - the one that says if he ever wants to sell, he'll sell the car back to/through an official Ferrari dealer. Those might not seem like ironclad contracts to you or I, but maybe it seems a bit more serious to Bieber; maybe his attorney (or group of attorneys just looked at it and told him to sign it, and that they could get him out of it later on if it was really an issue). If you had the money for a LaFerrari, and the only way Ferrari would even consider including you on the list was if you signed one of their contracts, would you sign one of their contracts? If I had the money in the time of the Enzo, and it was either sign the contract and get 134282, or don't sign and kiss off, I'd basically sign whatever they put in front of me. At the end of the day, none of this is Bieber's fault. He didn't do anything wrong to us (outside of make terrible music). He just has lots of money, and sometimes, for some people, in some instances, opportunities present themselves for no reason other than the fact that you have lots of money. I can't knock the kid for possibly getting a LaFerrari when other more deserving people are left on the back burners.
I agree. And what's even more fascinating is people get worked up over people like beiber get a certain car, while the so called "loyalists" thst are being talked about are nothing more than business men making an investment and will not put one mile on their cars. I don't think beiber is as bad as the media makes you think he is.
