That's my GTO upstairs! That must have been when it was having its major service recently. Drove it today actually back to back with the scud - sublime.
Saw this one at the 2015 Celebration Exotic Car Festival in Celebration FL It was displayed with the other three Ferrari supercars which are all part of an incredible private collection that includes a NART Spyder, 410 Superamerica and the Bugatti Veyron Sang Bleu. Thanks Unfortunately the cars were parked in their spot the night before the show so I was unable to catch them being driven in as I like to do. I had access behind the barrier and the handler said he was going to open them all up after judging and I was welcome to take some interior shots if I wanted. For whatever reason he decided not to open them up and I didn't press him to just so I could take pics. I try and stay after the show to catch the cars driving off but he told me was going to wait long after to the point where everyone was gone before he drove them to the hauler and I didn't have the time to wait that long. These are the only pics of the 288 GTO i ended up getting. I will say that everyone I've talked to that have presented the four Ferrari supercars have done the same thing, they point to the 288 GTO and say " that one is crazy fast " I promise I'll do better at the next opportunity. A well-tuned 288 GTO feels crazy fast because its so light, compared to the later cars. Bill S weighed mine and I think it was 2,750 lbs or something, and that was with fluids & 1/2 a tank of gas! Add Megaphone pipes and its quite a riot. Thank you for sharing!

51st birthday present for me (July 4th) would be a ride in the local 288 GTO. Can you help Joe? Sorry guys I am being self serving.
Thanks Joe. Back on topic the 288 GTO is simply mesmerizing, stops one in his/her tracks. Excuse me while I dust off my framed poster from the '80s and give it a hug, I just digressed didn't I?
