I'm interested in a 348 Serie Speciale. Noted a few for sale recently, just before I decided to seriously enter the market. Now have cash and can act quickly on a good car. Would appreciate any leads from the FChat brethren. After 7 years with a 328, this looks like a lot of fun! Thanks.
Sold my 360 spider and just bought a 348ts ss. Love this car. Tubi with High Flow Cats. awesome. Simple car to work on. Good luck with your search.
The carbon fiber sport seats. They are a lot more comfortable then I thought they would be. I drove 4 hrs in them the other day and it was fine. I do like them better then the standard seats I had in my 94 348 spider. A little heard to get in an out of when you can't open the door all the way in a parking spot. I usually push the seat all the way back when I get out then re-adjust it when I get in. My wife likes them to, but does find it hard to get in and out. The sides are high.
Come on over to the dark side. After selling my 328, I haven't really looked back other than continuing to like all Ferrari's... Much to like with the SS and other models in our section. Best. Robb
Thanks for the welcome! I enjoyed a lot about my 328. It was Fly Yellow, had an X-OST and test pipes, and I had no real problems over 7 years other than a coil going down. However, I hit the point where I realized I could be a curator/caretaker or I could sell and experience other cars. Of course, I sold two years too soon as far as the 308/328 market is concerned, but there you go. My only complaints with the 328 were the interior appointments and the A/C (could never get cooler than 63 degrees at the vent.) If I could just get a bit more cool air, and a bit more comfort, it would have been perfect. Which is what brought me here!
Love to hear your thoughts on the differences in the driving experiences between both cars particularly given you knew what you were getting back into with your previous ownership history
