Over seven wasted years. Post counts are misleading. If you deduct F1 race threads mine would be much, much lower.

Duane, that car is stunning! I saw a GTB at a gas station yesterday and I'm always taken aback by how beautiful they are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well I don't deserve to be in a pic with my car, (yet anyway)...once my prized possession 34 years ago when I bought it...it has recently just sat alone in the garage under a cover for many (many) years now. But...I've been working on it for a few weeks now...and here I am in a selfie yesterday after a hard day in the garage...(OK I did spend an hour or two bleeding the cooling system several times again)...you might notice the recent battle related scars on my hand and arm, if you look closely. I must admit, that you people here are inspiring me all the more with your passion and excitement for these 3x8 cars...and I am truly amazed at the scale of some of the many restoration projects going on now.... Anyway...even though the car won't really be truly drivable for still some time now, I'd say, it still makes me smile to fire it up and hear the growl of the 308 GT4 LM (like) spec engine...and, some day coming up, I hope....I'll be going through the gears again out on the open road, like I used to...and smiling even more.... ... I thought, I've posted in this thread, but ... NOW I also do. Sorry, You only see my beloved CO (Patrycja), because of the angle of view, but trust me, I am beside her at the drivers place ;-) 1. in my 1980 308 GT4 2. in my 1984 208 turbo GTS Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don't worry: she looks by far better than you! (and then I still cannot understand how a 6' 7" tall man can fit in a 208 GTB turbo: I want to see a picture with you inside that car...) ciao
I know ! That's the reason, why I choosed those particular pictures to show It's simple: reclining , not sitting But: with roof it will unconfortable.
Nice pic. I joke that if need be I wouldn't ID my car by VIN. Rather by all of my DNA I've left on it.
After three years of ownership I don't have a single pic of me with my car. I have a few pics of my girl with her which seems to be preferred anyway. Here she is with my 87. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes indeed...but just a few short weeks ago, when I started my concerted Dino resurrection work...I was nothing more than a 160lb weakling...but now...after all the jacking, crawling, lifting, pulling, pushing (and grunting) etc...it's been an amazing transformation...why just this morning, I popped open a bottle of Trader Joe's 100% Cranberry Juice so easily it almost scared me....
Taken earlier today...78 degrees and blue skies...perfect day for a drive in Northwest Arkansas. Image Unavailable, Please Login
