    joe, is that type of wheel tie down standard on all flatbeds? what do you call it if i need to specfy? like the idea of not touching the wheels.

    I think the company I use (G&W) retrofit their vehicles with the tracks and canvas belts to secure the cars this way, I'm not sure about other entities.

    That said, I'd never allow the wheel's spokes to be used as the point of securing the car.

    Air intake (or lack thereof) had nothing to do with the component failures a handful of early 991 GT3s had, and, on the RS they are simply a Weissach-inspired performance application. Ditto the fender vents which were inspired by Porsche competition cars of lore.
