Attached are some pictures of my newly released 458 that I had made in L.A. (LT Werks) for the Gumball Rally this month. Ive been a car fanatic for years and have to say that this is my favorite yet. So excited to race this thing across the planet! The sound it produces rivals anything I have ever experienced (and I have owned everything from lambos to muscle cars with capristo to tubi) Pics and video are at facebook.com/gumballteamanime and you can like the page to go POV through the most notorious race on earth.

    Upgrades:
    - widebody from Liberty Walk
    - GT2 front bumper with wider air intakes
    - rear carbon diffuser, rear duck tail spoiler, front racing carbon splitter and carbon side splitters
    - 3 piece forged rims (one off)
    - custom remote adjustable suspension from Platinum VIP in L.A.
    - Innotech F1 exhaust (blew my camera off the tripod at 10' in a video on the FB page)
    - custom graphics (took 3 months to develop)
    - 6000 watt sound system from Custom Car Stereo with hand stitched leather components to match the factory leather
    - custom led lighting - glows like Tron at night ;)

    Ferrari options:
    - full carbon interior
    - carbon F1 steering wheel with LED's
    - deviated stitching
    - Daytona seats
    - electric seats
    - lumbar
    - heated seats
    - hi fi sound (has been upgraded)
    - yellow calipers
    - polished rims (now upgraded)
    - rear camera
    - parking sensors front and rear
    - scudiera shields
    - seat head crests
    - navigation

There is no adequate way to get the sound but I do have video on my team page facebook.com/gumballteamanime that has a start up and a camera mounted on a tripod at 10' behind the car. The exhaust actually blew the camera off the tripod. It is UNREAL.

There are also some driving videos and a road test where I put the car up to 173mph on video.

I would have rather imagined that on a Toyota Supra etc.

    Why did that to a 458? :/

Didn't the Gumball used to be cool? At what point did they decide to put the cars in clown shoes?

I will. It looks like it came out of a cereal box. And people are criticizing the 488??? That body kit makes the car look so tacky and ugly...

The OP is obviously having a good time and shares with the forum his excitement. Did he ask for anyones "judgement"? The car is designed for a unique purpose and he is having fun.

    As to the OP, enjoy.

I've heard that race is a blast. Car looks amazing. A real attention grabber. Enjoy and thanks for posting. Love the custom LED's that glow like Tron at night. The race sounds like a kind of fantasy, all out event. Sure it's amazing. FWIW, guys... let the man have his fun and enjoy. Why not???

It's the Gumball rallye isn't it?? I thought that's where drivers make their cars stand out with different wraps and kits. Wouldn't it be rather boring if every car in the rallye was stock or lightly modified?

I like like it for what it is. Good luck and have a great time!

I guess you and I passed reading comprehension and noted the Gumball designation in the thread title. It's like posters spew vitriol without reading the OP or having an iota of knowledge about what Gumball is. You think this is too extreme for "good taste"? God forbid you look at the other maniacal designs of Gumball partipants.

I love anime design. Props for being unique with a monster exhaust note to boot. Tell the rest of the naysayers to go back to the conformity of their single malt scotch, daily Cialis and Cars and Coffee with their mock turtlenecks.
