If you plan on racing in the CCR race at Road America, I would suggest booking a hotel ASAP. I just tried today and there are few choices since we are the support race for PWC. Closest hotels with availability were in Seboygan. I saw a preliminary schedule for the weekend. Lots of racing action.

Don't be afraid to book in Milwaukee, it's only an hour drive up to RA. Some of the roads up, certainly not all, make great driving roads as well.

Should I be afraid of Seboygan? Sounds like a small town but it was the next closest spot. I have not run a RA before or visited the area. I was recommended the Osthoff and Seibkens but they are completely booked. Maybe Milwaukee is not such a bad idea. The first practice session is not until 12n.

No NASCAR just PWC with lots of support races

Having raced at road America countless times, i would stay in sheboygan long before i drove back to milwaukee each night.

Siebkins, besides a place to stay, is the local racer hangout. It's the place to be in the evening on race weekends.
