    Hi All,

I am a newbie on the forum but I have owned my Red Ferrari F430 Spider F1 2007 exactly one year today. I actually live in abroad now but have taken over my UK plated car.

I have only covered 1000 miles in this past year but it is time for the annual service and I am heading back to UK on Thursday.

I have found a specialist place to service my car

Verdi Ferrari ? Specialist in Ferrari Servicing | Parts & Accessories | Bodywork & Crash Repairs

Should everything be ok before I ring to book?

    Cheers,

    MS

    MS,

    Welcome! :)

You could do a search for threads containing references to "Verdi", which I think is the most common spelling of the name.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Did you sign for an English county side for this year ?

If you need an alternate suggestion for servicing its best to give a hint of your location (not just UK)

Haha - I wish - but I am probably the best player in Belgium right now :)

Sorry for the spelling mistake - that's probably why I didn't find anything in the title search.

I will be in London on Thursday afternoon + Friday.

    Please let me know!

Dont listen to everyone, Verdi's will look after your car and make sure it gets the service it needs unlike DK ENGINEERING who just rip you off and treat you like a school kid. SO STAY WAY FROM THEM, THEY ARE EVIL AND WILL FACE KARMA

Its all very well you saying that but if he is trading at all he has not been trading from the advertised premises for nearly two years - where is he and do you know how to contact him ?

I'm just talking from my own experience I have had with both of these companies so I cant speak for everyone and how they were treated etc. I can say that they helped me out a lot and I will always remember it and praise them.

Verdi Ferrari are not to be trusted at all. Karl Verdi is a pathological liar and thief who still runs the company. He actually looks like a snitch from Miami Vice. Dont go near them, dont get your car serviced there and most importantly DO NOT give them your car or else you will never see your money or your car again.

While everyone is entitled to their opinion, there are quite a few people who could testify to the complete loss of their cars after entrusting them to Verdi. It seems that he is an expert at playing the English legal system.

I have no affiliation whatsover to DK, but they have been in business for over 35 years, handling literally hundreds of the top classic Ferrari. The scope of their activities is in a different league to Verdi's and I have never heard a hint or rumour of any fraudulant activity.

Well there you go because I have heard things about DK as well and talking from experience I can tell you that I got done over and treated like a complete very badly so I don't care what anyone has to say about them or not. There was a chap who actually worked @ DK who approached me after he read me talk about them on this forum years back and he told me some horrid stories, if i knew this before I would have NEVER taken my car there in the first place.

I am surprised the site is still up showing their former address.
I was not far from there about a year ago, so I made a short detour to check it out: everything was closed with company assets sold off. Nothing left of the once very busy business.

I must say I never understood what happened with Karl. For a few years he treated me well and serviced well the car. Then his problems started....
I really struggled to get the last few quids from the car he had sold for me. But I eventually managed. I guess I was lucky.

That evil bastard Karl Verdi took me for 25 grand and several others for hundreds of thousands. You can find my threads here and on pistonheads. He cannot be too bright trading under the same name, check out what google throws out for his company name.

For sure I am a hater and for good reason, the man is filth.

As you have a connection with Verdi I suppose sticking up for this crook who has stolen thousands of pounds is only to be expected.

But to involve DK, one of the most respected names in the Ferrari business in the UK in this way is way off beam, and probably defamatory.
